"ME Malta offers one of the most complete luxury stays currently available on the island. The location is excellent: around 15 minutes from the airport and within walking distance of restaurants, nightlife, shopping areas, marina and entertainment. Ideal for travelers looking for comfort while staying in the most vibrant part of Malta. The suite experience was genuinely five-star level. Large spaces, elegant design, premium bedding, excellent soundproofing and beautiful terraces with impressive views. The open-space bathroom concept, technology and amenities were all perfectly aligned with the hotel’s luxury positioning. Service throughout the stay was professional, international and attentive. Check-in immediately gives the feeling of a true luxury property, with refined common areas and a polished atmosphere. Breakfast was another strong point, combining high-quality buffet options with freshly prepared à la carte dishes. The spa, gym and pool areas complete the experience very well and help create a modern lifestyle-oriented identity. The rooftop restaurant has a beautiful setting, although the atmosphere felt slightly too loud compared to the rest of the hotel. A property that fully matches its luxury positioning and one of the most interesting stays currently available in Malta."

"We stayed here at the end of April into the first week of May and it overlapped with the workers day public holiday on 1st May. Check in was fine, the lady was very polite and helpful and as we'd arrived on an early flight we were grateful to get into the room about an hour early. I'm a Melia Gold member and booked accommodation only so that I could use the 2 for 1 breakfast benefit, that was arranged at check in and I was glad we did as the breakfast was varied and very good. We booked an Always ME Sea View room, it was spacious and very comfortable. However, be aware there is a LOT of construction work in the area and the sea view also had a lot of cranes in the way. The next thing to highlight is the noise, OMG it is loud until about 5am as there are a lot of very noisy venues in the area and the high buildings seem to funnel it towards that part of the hotel. Fortunately I saw that was an issue on another review and we took ear plugs, if you are a light or moderate sleeper you need them. The servicing of the room was inconsistent during our stay, we had to speak to guest services to resolve as our room was only getting done after 5pm, which is not ideal if you've been out all day. It did improve after we'd spoken to them. The pool was nice enough, on the 8th floor but we didn't use it much as it was a bit breezy and it got chilly just sitting about at that time of year. We didn't use the hotel restaurants for other meals as we like to eat out and there were lots of great places nearby. All the staff we encountered were polite and helpful, especially the housekeeping and restaurant staff. Be aware that a lot of this area attracts very young visitors and it can get very rowdy outside. It is also very busy and the roads are highly congested, with a lot of car horns getting sounded all day. I'd also advise avoiding public holidays as it gets very busy and even more noisy. I'll check the the calendar more carefully if we return to Malta! If it wasn't for the noise and housekeeping issues I'd have rated the hotel 5."

"Excellent stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, the welcome and check-in process were extremely professional and smooth, with genuinely warm and smiling staff. Thanks to Amex FHR, we were able to enjoy an early check-in and our room was already ready at 10am, which was greatly appreciated. We also received a room upgrade through FHR: a superb room on the 16th floor, around 500 sq ft, very spacious with exceptional views over both the city and the sea. The room itself was beautifully appointed, with marble throughout, an excellent bed and bedding quality, and a very large shower. The outdoor pool area was very enjoyable, and the service quality remained consistently excellent throughout the hotel. Every staff member we interacted with — at the restaurant, bar, spa, reception, and concierge — was welcoming, helpful, and smiling. The spa facilities are extensive, with a full wellness area including hammam, sauna, and indoor pool. We also had a massage which was of very high quality. A special mention as well for the trendy rooftop bar on the 20th floor, with a DJ and breathtaking views. Check-out was quick and professional. The taxi arranged for our 4am departure arrived perfectly on time, and the bellboy was extremely helpful assisting us with the luggage and loading the taxi. The takeaway breakfast packs for early departures were also very well prepared and appreciated. Overall, a very polished and high-end experience from start to finish. Highly recommended when staying in St Julian’s."
