"I recently stayed at the H Hotel in Malta and had a fantastic experience. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and in a great location, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. A special mention goes to Khyam, who went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after even after we checked out. He helped us store our bags safely and made sure we had everything we needed before we left. His professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to help really made a difference and left a lasting impression. Thank you to Khyam and the rest of the H Hotel team for making our stay so enjoyable – we’ll definitely be back!"

"Clubs and pubs adjoin hotel, so not at all suitable for anyone that wants to sleep before 4am. Music till 3am then from people shouting and fighting in street below from 3am to 4am as there are lots of takeaways in the street below. There is also a punch bag machine right below which is used A LOT and slams into metal so can even be heard with the patio and bathroom door closed. During the day the balcony don’t really get any sun, and while there was a part sea view it was far from relaxing as there was building works below and an insane amount of car honking. I asked to move rooms after the first night was was informed I was on the quietest side. Lack of sleep was compounded by the couple next door shouting and arguing from 3-4am. I was told they had checked out. Night 2 was the same (same couple shouting and arguing from 3am-4am) so I asked again to change rooms. Told hotel was full. Looked on Booking.com and saw available rooms in the hotel and the Boutique hotel adjoining the hotel, some with full sea views so was assuming that would be a quieter side. Contacted ThomasCook for help to move rooms or for a refund so I could stay the last two nights elsewhere. Hotel didn’t get back to Thomas cook. Bedroom was nice, clean enough (but some parts could have been cleaner e.g. dust around toilet roll holder and in the spiral on the bedside table (which also had hairs in it). I loved the electric curtains and all of the lighting options. The shower was quite powerful which was great. There were two bathrobes and slippers. Wasn’t a fan of the mirror on the ceiling (but that was just personal preference). The spa was amazing, and I had a massage and a foot treatment. You can ask the reception for a towel and they give you one in return for the card you are given at checkin. Don’t lose this card or you will need to pay a fee. There are lockers in the spa area. Also, the rooftop pool was open early in November even although it said on the description it was only open till September so that was a bonus. The breakfast was nice, pretty much an English breakfast with continental options and cakes plus juice and tea and coffee. You can also request an omelette. I was given a card with a QR code when I checked in. This was a bit confusing as the menu options shown (eg eggs Benedict) are not actually available unless you order room service which according to reception you can only do by calling the kitchen on the morning you want to have the breakfast. You can’t order in advance. On the first morning I arrived at 10.20am for breakfast (breakfast was advertised until 10.30am) mainly due to having no sleep the night before. The greeter informed me I had better be quick as they were closing. So I sat down, but no one came over. So then I went to ask at the bar if anyone would be taking my order (tea, coffee, cooked items etc) and was informed that everything was self service. No biggie, just wasn’t clear that was the process. Expected better service from a 4* hotel. So I quickly grabbed a few things but there were no glasses, no mugs, no cutlery and no napkins. So don’t go down for breakfast late. In checking in I was made to pay a £200 deposit. Hadn’t expected this as when I booked the rooms is said the deposit was £100 per person (I was one person). Checkout is 12noon so I checked out at 11.50am. Be aware that they will not let you checkout until they have checked your room. I was still waiting for this at 12.30pm (as were around 20 other people checking out). I asked how much longer it would be as I had to leave for my flight and they were able to fast track my checkout. So be ready for this and checkout earlier if you are in a rush. I’ve never ever experienced this in other hotels. I asked others on the flight if their hotels did this and they did not so this process seems to be specific to this hotel, and not to hotels in Malta. Overall the room was nice, the Spa was nice but I would not recommend this hotel or stay again."

"Excellent hotel, the staff couldn’t do enough for us, reception, the man serving the coffee at breakfast, all very friendly, the man who showed us our room, very clean. Great location, can not fault the staff or hotel, food amazing, will be back."
