Courtyard by Marriott Sliema

"My wife and I celebrated my birthday with a week-long stay at this beautiful hotel. It is in great location, not within the hustle and bustle of the Sliema harbour but within striking distance of that and nearby St Julian’s. We were highly impressed by the staff and the service we received at this hotel. In the 30 years that my wife and I have been travelling, this has been the best hotel service that we have ever received. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we had them constantly checking in with us to see if all our needs were being met (which they were). On arrival they surprised us with a bottle of prosecco and chocolates to mark my birthday and this was greatly appreciated. The hotel itself is relatively new and it is immaculate. We enjoyed all the facilities in this hotel. There is a ground floor indoor swimming pool and health suite, along with a rooftop swimming pool and restaurant. The restaurant served the best food in Sliema and we ate there most nights during our stay. We will book this hotel again next time we come back to Malta and we highly recommend staying here."

"The best holiday experience. The staff are exceptional, always ready to help and very friendly. The room was perfect as was the food and hotel amenities. I never got to see the indoor pool; but my word the outdoor pool which is adjacent to the dining room was perfect. About 80m from the promenade and bus routes. A secluded ATM across the road. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I dined in most nights. I look forward to a return visit in 2026"

"Pros: incredibly clean with tremendous courteous staff. Breakfast plentiful, and many different types. Shower to die for in the room, best ever. Cons: typical Marriott, set up for the business traveller. Pool area can just about fit 40 beds, at a squeeze, with about 200 person capacity hotel. The “restaurant” well it’s the breakfast area, the lights at night are set for a plane to land with no ambience. Didn’t taste the food. It’s set in a part of Sliema I would call “up and coming” so much building work going on and in parts very run down. This obviously is not the hotels fault but just FYI."
