Bayview Hotel by ST Hotels

"Disappointed. We stayed in the same hotel 3 years ago and had a much better experience so we were looking forward to returning. Sadly many things weren't right this time. The room service never happened every day unless we chased someone to do it. Our coffee cups were not changed daily. The indoor pool and especially the jacuzzi were both quite dirty. I was covered in dirty black bits from the jacuzzi. If you were late for breakfast after 9am then it was crowded and often food items would run out and the juice concentrate became like water. Our toilet broke and had to be fixed. It was broken by one of the cleaners after we chased to have room service for the 5th time in a row. The buttons in the lift were not lighting up. The lift floors looked badly worn out. A person came to check the family room on the last day for repainting, as it's end of summer season, so I get why some of it wasn't done, but really maintenance should be an ongoing process not a seasonal one! On the positive side, the staff were very kind, helpful as they could be, and friendly. The restaurant did provide me with gluten free toast this time, which was not available 3 years ago. The view from the rooftop was fantastic and the bar next door called Suzie Q served excellent food, and happy hour was from 5-8pm every day."

"Extremely narrow room, highly overpriced. More or less looks like hostel room with cowboy gate to bath/toilette. And this for half overpriced for single room with great view... to inside awful space. All seen in the bar - part of the hotel or not - who can guess - at the exit. Where 1 pint means 0.4 l. Which pint is this 🤔 "

"Disappointed with stay. After booking twin room we got to room to find a double! Went back downstairs only to be told nothing could be done that evening. Booked half board. Breakfast was like a noisy canteen, every morning they ran out of plates and cutlery so you were left queuing waiting for plates! Dinner was not served in hotel, but different hotel 10 minutes walk away. ( we were not told this at point of booking) pillows were badly stained, floor tiles cracked, dirty towels one day. Booked partial sea view but we looked out on air con and tatty old building. The pool looked grubby with missing tiles. Overall very shabby ( we didn’t get in ) very disappointed."
