"I booked 2 Executive Rooms for 7 nights as they are well located on the 7th floor overlooking the sea. I was allocated Room 735 for myself and my wife and Room 737 for our friends. Unfortunately, 735 is in my view the poor relation of this row of rooms. It is narrower with the bed being so close to the storage unit that the room feels like two separate spaces. Our friends' room felt spacious by comparison. 735 has a smaller bathroom with the shower over the bath, instead of a walk in shower and separate bath. To make matters worse, it has what appears to be a pump directly above it, which intermittently drains the air con system. It sounded like someone was pressing a door buzzer. We had very little sleep on the first night as there was a 3 second blast of this buzzer noise, as often as every 90 seconds at one point. Our friends in Room 737 did not hear this noise. Following several trips to reception, the situation improved by the 3rd night with the sound being muffled and only occurring infrequently. So my recommendation is, if you want to go for an Executive Room, try to avoid 735. Everything else about the hotel was good."

"My friend and I recently spent a wonderful day by the pool at The Palace in sliema .We received a very warm welcome by the front desk team ,it was especially nice to be greeted in Maltese By one of the foreign employee-a lovely touch that we really appreciated! We started our morning with a delicious breakfast before heading to the pool area ,where we spent a highly relaxing day. We also had lunch and the entire staff was incredible welcoming , especially Dione (hope I caught his name right ). The outdoor pool,toilets and showers were absolutely impeccable and kept spotless clean throughout the day by the hard working staff. While we were there the pool stairs unfortunately broke ,creating a potential hazzard .I notified the staff and the maintenance team took prompt action and fixed it immediately which was impressive. What's there to say more ,Thank you to everyone at The Palace for making our day relaxing and enjoyable .Will definitely recommend this Hotel ."

"We stayed here for 2 nights last late November. Spacious room, huge double bed (the most spacious I have ever tried) and comfortable. There is also a large terrace. Huge bathroom with separate bathtub and shower stall. Excellent room amenities (toiletries, slippers, bathrobe, complimentary bag of sweets, water, etc.). The rooftop with the pool is very nice (since it was winter we didn't try it, but the view is worth it) and the view of Valletta (especially on the restaurant side). There is also an additional pool for adults only. There is also an indoor pool with a wellness area. The cocktails prepared for the aperitif are very good. Exceptional staff, all very kind and friendly, perhaps the greatest added value of the property. Covered parking included in the room price. Price that is not even too high considering the level of the property. Only downside: nice wellness area, but undersized compared to the number of guests and temperatures not high enough in the sauna and steam room."
