Qawra Palace Resort and SPA

"First time to Malta, hotel was clean, room over looking sea, staff friendly, nice pool area, rooftop pool will be lovely when open. Glad our room was not in the square at the back of hotel as no sun very depressing. Restaurant abit like a canteen, very busy but food was ok. Says minibar in room but nothing in the fridge at all. Bathroom decent size but flooded when having a shower, drain not sufficient. Very disappointed on last day, we were all inclusive. Check out time was 11 but we were packed and ready to vacate our room abit earlier so we thought we were doing them a favour to enable cleaners in we checked out at reception about 10.00am only to have our all inclusive bands taken off us and given a paper wrist band. When I asked what that was for I was told it was so we could continue to use the facilities within the hotel until we were ready to leave, our flight was not until 7.45pm. Great or so I thought, at least we would be able to get a drink, that is all I wanted, wasn't expecting to get free food after 11 but when I went to ask if we could have a coffee I was greeted with, you've already checked out at 10am so you cannot use the facilities any more ... so what facilities does the paper wrist band provide. Next time if I do return I will not be checking out until 11am on the date."

"We’ve been returning to this beautiful hotel in Malta for years and it never disappoints. There’s something truly special about it that keeps bringing us back. The staff are wonderful, especially Carmen, who is such a lovely person. She made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond—she’s a real asset to the hotel. The rooms are stunning, spotless, and modern following the refurbishment. The spa and indoor pool are so relaxing, and the rooftop bar and pools are amazing. The food is always delicious with plenty of choice. This is our go-to place to relax and unwind. We’re coming back on 11th April we carn’t wait. Ian & Helen."
