Hotel Milano and Spa

"Outstanding hotel. Could not do enough for us. 4 ladies celebrating a special 60th Birthday. Immaculate rooms, complementary tea/coffee/ water, bath robes, fluffy towels, great bedding, comfy bed, and the list goes on. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, sorting taxis and recommending places for dinner. Prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch.Breakfast was outstanding - the lady must have heard me mention strawberries as a few seconds later, the biggest bowl of strawberries arrived on our table. A lovely touch! Coffee to die for and the pastries - well what can I say. This is a 3 star hotel but should be 5 stars - the roof top terrace is incredible - the view - wow! So good I’m bringing my husband back here for his 60th and we’re going to the opera - can’t wait!!!"

"A lovely hotel in a fantastic location. We stayed in a small French double room which was plenty big enough for us. The bed was a 5 foot which is King-size by uk standards. We stayed in room 102 which had a veranda and arena view. Room was quiet, apart from when an evening event was on at the arena. We stayed for 2 nights and on both nights there was a concert lasting until past midnight. We could clearly hear each event but we found it very entertaining. Breakfast was good. We found all the staff very polite and helpful - they gave us fresh milk on request and lent us a corkscrew. Offered a drink on arrival and bottled water on leaving, for our journey. Also showed us the rooftop terrace which unfortunately we couldnt use as it rained for the whole of our visit. But Verona was still beautiful and I would recommend the hotel. They also arranged a transfer from the hotel to our next destination which was top class."
