LHP Napoli Palace & SPA

"We stayed at the LHP Napoli Palace and Spa for a long weekend. The hotel wasn’t very far from the airport, about 20 - 25 minutes. We were greeted by Marco, who was a fanatic host from the beginning. Check in was quick and simple, and he showed us around all of the hotels amenities explaining everything in perfect English (which was appreciated as our Italian was pretty much non existent!) Our room on the third floor was beautiful. Roomy, impeccably decorated and had a stunning bathroom. We were at the back of the hotel, where there was no noise and so we slept peacefully every night. The pillows were very firm, which caused a bit of discomfort on the first night, but I made reception aware the next morning and they promptly swapped these out for some softer pillows without any fuss. Breakfast was included within our rate, and this was truly first class. There was a selection of breads, meats, cheeses, grilled vegetables, cooked elements for a full English, fruits, cereals, yoghurts, cakes and pastries. We were truly spoilt for choice and certainly didn’t go hungry. The hotel benefited from a spa although we didn’t use it, and a pool although this was closed for the season. The hotel was conveniently located right by the football stadium, and a short walk from the train station (not manned, but you can tap on and off like in London) which was very handy. The real selling point of this hotel however, was the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and every member was welcoming and friendly from start to finish. A particular mention for Marco and the lady he worked with on reception (I unfortunately didn’t catch her name) who were both just so lovely and helpful, right down to booking our taxi back to the airport. Overall, I really could not fault this hotel and it was a perfect stay. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Napoli for an exceptional stay."
