Palazzo Viridis

"The hotel was lovely and in a busy area of Milan just out from the cathedral area. Reception staff were very helpful, booking taxis and giving advice around trams and bus routes etc Tram and bus stop are only a minutes walk from the hotel which is perfect Shout out to Frederico for his help and assistance Dinner in the Viridis Lounge was delicious - we only ate there once as like to get out and about but defo recommend it Room was good size, clean and tidy Only slight issue we had was breakfast - we went twice at different times and the hot food was empty when we arrived not replenished very quickly - in fact the second day it was only refreshed after we had been there a good 15-20mins and had already eaten the fresh meats, cheese and other bits which was all very nice. Good coffee and juices too Lady staff member seemed overwhelmed on her own the first day Second day she had some help and the young lad was really friendly Overall a lovely hotel and stay here in Milan - would recommend"

"The location was great, 10-15 minute stroll to the duomo cathedral. Everything you could ever need was around the duomo eateries, shops, museums, beautiful architecture. There were a couple of tram stops within 5 minutes. The room was great size for 2 of us, sheets and towels changed each day, we stayed for 4 nights. We stayed at the front of the hotel and at times was a little noisy with trams and cars but we were in a city and I love the hustle and bustle, shall I say it’s just to be expected, never impacted on our sleep, bed was extremely comfortable. The room included a minibar which we didn’t use, but the prices were on top so there was no confusion. Breakfast was lovely a small dining area but had everything we needed. Not a lot of hot selection going on but scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and warm vegetables available. Great selection of pastries, fruit and yoghurt also, coffee was made to order with a selection of juice available on the counter. We did have to pay a €10 euro pppn fee tourist tax which I wasn’t aware of, but that’s more the fault of the travel agent. Staff were friendly and ordered us taxis on a couple of occasions. I would say the cleanliness was great inside the hotel. Was a lovely place to stay Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend"

"Very dissatisfied with the behavior of the people responsible at the reception, complete irresponsibility, rudeness and audacity. Passport theft by a member of the cleaning staff."
