Hotel Raffaello

"Lovely hotel. Spotless. Brilliant staff. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel dining room was very good. Champions League football in the hotel bedroom was magnificent."

"Visited in September with my son. Hotel generally met my expectations. Good facilities, shower good, handy mini bar and breakfast was really good. Reason I didn't give it a 5 is because of the noise in my room. There was this sort of bass like humming that kept alternating between on and off which made it difficult to sleep so had to put in my ear plugs. May relate to the air conditioning. Staff at breakfast were really friendly unlike reception staff who weren't that friendly. I don't think I'd stay there again and not for the reasons stated above. Main reason is transport links. Yes there is a convenient tram nearby but there's no metro and no nearby S line. This was significant for three reasons: 1) getting to hotel from Milan Linate airport took quite a bit of working out (you have to take two stops on metro then change to an S line (5 or 6) then walk 20 mins; 2) we were in Milan for the football so getting to the San Siro by public transport is really difficult and 3) we also went to Lake Como so had to get to Milan Central station but this involved 20 mins walk, S line train then another 10 mins walk. Of course this isn't the hotel's fault but it is something I need to factor in in future."

"Excellent location with a tram stop right outside. Rooms were spacious,clean & the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. Staff were amazing, friendly & very helpful. Highly recommend staying here as could not fault anything."
