Eco Hotel Milano

"A cheap and conviennient opportunity compared with other hotels in Milano for solo travellers. A tidy and peaceful room and a nice staff."

"Good base for visiting Milan with the metro stop on the other side of the park, the general area didn’t feel the safest but it was alright. Staff friendly and always greeted you. You had to leave your key with the front desk whenever you left which I’ve never had to do anywhere else but we thought nothing else of it. The room was nice and cosy, warmed up quickly and had a hairdryer, safe and minifridge and stocked up toiletries that are all eco-friendly. It was cleaned/tidied every day and restocked if needed. There was work being done to the entrance which we had no advance warning of, it meant arrival was through the fire escape and there was banging and drilling during the late morning and day. Good facilities and cosy room but noisy from works lends 4 stars. I would stay here again though for the reasonable cost and closeness to the metro in comparison to how expensive staying in the centre is."

"The 3 day break was fabulous until the final night in this hotel. We were delighted when our friends joined us for a meal in the restaurant but were very disappointed with what happened next. We all ordered our drinks and our meals, the restaurant wasn’t overly busy but comfortable. When our food came the plates were COLD and also the food was COLD, we had ordered pasta x 2 and 2x steak fillets We ordered side dishes of which one didn’t arrive and the others very late after. We didn’t want to cause any embarrassment to the serving staff so approached the receptionist and explained our situation. She advised that she would inform the duty manager. And THATS where they let them selves down…. The duty manager was informed as we observed the receptionist talking and pointing our way.. WE WERE TOTALLY IGNORED. SHE THEN DISAPPEARED We spoke to the receptionist and she said she had advised her manager and we can confirm this as we asked if that was the person we saw talking to her. The following morning A Different receptionist was on duty and she knew nothing about our complaint but was as helpful as she could be. We were on a deadline to catch our plane so we had to leave. We did receive an explanation from the company but at no time did they offer an apology. Very disappointed"
