"We went on this holiday as we are expecting a baby and this was our last holiday as just the two of us. However, we ended up leaving over 24 hours early due to us having such a bad experience. I can understand the hotel cannot control the weather, however there was honestly next to nothing to do in this resort. The gym was inadequate due to machines not working, and additionally the water dispenser was not available. Our main point is that our room was right next to the main lobby, with a corridor door that didn’t close properly. This meant that we were up until the early hours of the morning because of the bar / entertainment and until the early hours from when breakfast is served in the restaurant next door. Our room was right next to where the entertainment was being held every night - and additionally right next to the canteen / buffet area was, which from 6am is when you can have breakfast. Our first night of travelling we only had 2 hours sleep when arriving, and we tried to get an early night however the entertainment went on until 11.30pm - and the bar remained open until 2am. We had drunk people FaceTiming their mates right outside our door (in the corridor), to which we had to go out and tell them to leave. We then also had people banging on our door after midnight, and when we looked there was no one there. Then come 6am, we hear everyone in the buffet restaurant moving their squeaky chairs every few seconds. We understand that people are on holiday and are allowed to drink and have fun, however why place a hotel room so close to the main lobby? The next morning after arriving, we politely ask the staff at reception to change rooms - as we said that we have come here to relax as I am 17 weeks pregnant. The staff were quite blunt, and unhelpful. The first member of staff we spoke to didn’t apologise, and simply just took our room number and said ‘ we will call you if anything is available.’ Bear in mind this hotel was NOT busy at all. We came back a few hours later asking again when we can change rooms. This staff was a bit more apologetic however said that the resort was fully booked, which I don’t believe at all. We asked to speak to a manager as we couldn’t sleep in the same room again as we needed a proper nights sleep - however she just refused to get a manager and said that they will ‘say the same thing’. We ended up going back to our hotel room, quite upset, calling EasyJet and changing our flight to coming back a day early. Then when we checked out a day early, the staff member didn’t ask anything, didn’t ask how our stay was, didn’t apologise - just frankly did not care. Honestly I’ve been on several holidays throughout the years and the customer service in the resort was just awful. Bare in mind that we also couldn’t sleep during the day, again due to the fact you can continuously hear everyone in the restaurant. On the day of arriving we also noticed blood on our bedsheets, which the staff had to end up changing. Again me being 17 weeks pregnant I ended up having a migraine due to the lack of sleep and stress, to which i couldn’t even sleep it off. All in all, we wish we never spent our hard earnt money on this holiday - do not recommend."
