"Poor experience, wasps nest outside room, wasps coming in under the large gap in the door. Maintenance “moved” the nest but this caused the wasps to swarm. Got moved to a lesser quality room which smelt of sewerage and was very cramped. Walls paper thin so a lot of noise from other guests. Although there was a decent variety of food at the buffet the hot food was lukewarm at best. Drinks were of a decent variety and quality . Pool area and bar were swarming with wasps so was impossible to relax. Had booked this hotel as it had a spa or so I thought. Yes you can get a massage and use the gym but the term Spa would be a stretch. Management “Kirsty” was rude and unhelpful. Other reception staff weren’t much better. By any stretch of the imagination this couldn’t be considered 4 star hotel. Rooms were beyond basic and the glass doors that led to shower and toilet did not offer much privacy. Beds were rock hard but fresh bedding and towels were provided daily. The hotel is in a convenient location to the sea front and archarvi village but avoid transfer by bus, it’s worth the 70 euro by taxi to get there in 45 minutes instead of the 2hr 30 mins by airport. transfer! Although this is a sea front hotel the “beach” is very stoney and not particularly great for swimming in. If i was offered a free stay in this hotel I wouldn’t bother."

"We have stayed in many great hotels, boutique and large resort chains including The Valamar's, Iberostars, tui blue, and magic lifes, none have been perfect and and we can honestly say, this one was great for this price point. Dont expect the highest level of service or facilities as we have had to pay much more at those big chain hotels and you shouldn't be disappointed. The food was tasty the bed comfy and areas kept clean. We have cats ourselves so the few roaming around did not bother us. People were feeding them which just encourages them to come to tables. It would be nice if there were visible feeding stations and signs to discourage this as some customers thought it was ok to give them human food, which will make them I'll. Spray with deet to avoid mosquito bites and bring bite cream if a few get you. Spray the room if the doors have been open as once they are in a room at night we saw a few guest with lots of bites. Drinks were as expected and staff lovely. I have to agree some of the sunbeds looked grubby, but there were enough free when we got to the pool to avoid this. Lots of shops and bars/restaurants nearby. Bus to Kassiopi easy and the village is gorgeous. The showers flood the toilet room and its sloppy too. Bring a shower mat! The beach is great and the order only lunchtime menu at the pool made a nice change to the buffet restaurant."

"We went on this holiday as we are expecting a baby and this was our last holiday as just the two of us. However, we ended up leaving over 24 hours early due to us having such a bad experience. I can understand the hotel cannot control the weather, however there was honestly next to nothing to do in this resort. The gym was inadequate due to machines not working, and additionally the water dispenser was not available. Our main point is that our room was right next to the main lobby, with a corridor door that didn’t close properly. This meant that we were up until the early hours of the morning because of the bar / entertainment and until the early hours from when breakfast is served in the restaurant next door. Our room was right next to where the entertainment was being held every night - and additionally right next to the canteen / buffet area was, which from 6am is when you can have breakfast. Our first night of travelling we only had 2 hours sleep when arriving, and we tried to get an early night however the entertainment went on until 11.30pm - and the bar remained open until 2am. We had drunk people FaceTiming their mates right outside our door (in the corridor), to which we had to go out and tell them to leave. We then also had people banging on our door after midnight, and when we looked there was no one there. Then come 6am, we hear everyone in the buffet restaurant moving their squeaky chairs every few seconds. We understand that people are on holiday and are allowed to drink and have fun, however why place a hotel room so close to the main lobby? The next morning after arriving, we politely ask the staff at reception to change rooms - as we said that we have come here to relax as I am 17 weeks pregnant. The staff were quite blunt, and unhelpful. The first member of staff we spoke to didn’t apologise, and simply just took our room number and said ‘ we will call you if anything is available.’ Bear in mind this hotel was NOT busy at all. We came back a few hours later asking again when we can change rooms. This staff was a bit more apologetic however said that the resort was fully booked, which I don’t believe at all. We asked to speak to a manager as we couldn’t sleep in the same room again as we needed a proper nights sleep - however she just refused to get a manager and said that they will ‘say the same thing’. We ended up going back to our hotel room, quite upset, calling EasyJet and changing our flight to coming back a day early. Then when we checked out a day early, the staff member didn’t ask anything, didn’t ask how our stay was, didn’t apologise - just frankly did not care. Honestly I’ve been on several holidays throughout the years and the customer service in the resort was just awful. Bare in mind that we also couldn’t sleep during the day, again due to the fact you can continuously hear everyone in the restaurant. On the day of arriving we also noticed blood on our bedsheets, which the staff had to end up changing. Again me being 17 weeks pregnant I ended up having a migraine due to the lack of sleep and stress, to which i couldn’t even sleep it off. All in all, we wish we never spent our hard earnt money on this holiday - do not recommend."
