Radisson Blu Hotel Berlin

"We booked river balcony room to enjoy morning and afternoon coffe and have open door, instead they placed us on lower floor with balcony facing busy traffic with intense noise. And some unfriendly check in personel and misinformation on restaurant reservation policies etc. else hotel is nice in itself "

"We stayed here for 3 nights as we were on a city break. The hotel is very modern, tastefully decorated and clean. There is a lovely reception and bar area to the right which really captures the mood on an evening. The restaurant for breakfast was well managed and the service and food was very good. We had a standard room. The rooms recently decorated, clean and modern. There is a flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar and safe (located in the wardrobe area). Also tucked away are robes, a hair dryer and toiletries. Nothing else you could need! Good comfy beds and great black out curtains, so no light floods in in the morning. Only slight negatives were that the bathroom had a few minor scuffs and scrapes, and got a little warm on a night (even with the aircon on - the duvets are thick). Also no English TV channels (bar news). However, there is the option to screen mirror from your phone which is then connected to the internet for Netflix etc. Nice touch. The hotel staff are polite and friendly, reception efficient and made our stay that bit smoother. The surrounding area is good, with a few bars and restaurants within walking distance. The cathedral is literally next door. The museums part of town is about a 5 minute walk away - it is a perfect location. Expect to do plenty of walking! Good restaurants nearby as well. We used the train from the airport which is cheap and direct. It stops at a main metro area which is only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I’d give the hotel 5 out of 5. Enjoy Berlin!"
