"My wife and I spent two days here because we had a very, VERY early flight from Paris to Rome coming up, and I thought it was best to stay near the airport. That worked out reasonably well, but know that the heart of Paris (Notre Dame, Louvre, Eiffel Tower) will be an hour away. You are staying near a sprawling, disorganized airport and not the city of Paris. When we got off our flight from NYC, it was a long time before we made it to the hotel. First going through all the usual customs, bag pickup, etc....but then walking at least half a mile before arriving at the shuttle that will take you nearest to the hotel. So this place isn't exactly attached to the airport.
Having said that, it was a perfectly acceptable stay, while a bit pricey. The hotel is very clean and nice, but it all feels about 30 years out-of-date. It is a corporate, business travel place. Lots of conference space. Big, old-school lobby. Again, it is well maintained and never felt shabby. Just out-of-date.
The service we received was good all around. The front desk staff was very nice and the restaurant staff was nice. The bar and restaurant were staffed by all men, which just struck me as unusual. Don't really care...just wanted to mention. They were all nice and everyone sort of traded off taking care of everyone. The food was tasty, but it IS all quite expensive for dinner. (They did have a couple of really solid Belgian beers on tap, though...so kudos for that.) The breakfast buffet was expansive and even though there were lots of folks there the morning we dined there, we had no wait for seating.
The room we had was very spacious. Not your typical cramped (by US standards) European place at all. LOTS of room for our luggage, big bed, big bathroom. Everything worked great. We were comfortable both nights and I have not complaints about the most important part of the experience...the room.
I'd stay here again, I suppose...but maybe next time, I'd just book a later flight and try to stay in Paris."
