Bioparc

"The residence is located on the eastern outskirts of Lyon in a campus and medical institution district. No food shops or restaurants (only a small brasserie across the street, but it is only open for lunch) within a 500m radius. The building is plain and only the reception area is a bit cozy. The welcome is friendly and attentive. Our small apartment was functional and well-equipped but decorated sadly (with a worn-out sofa). Fairly dark parking lot, part of which is used as a storage area. A useful residence, but one you don't really want to return to 🙄."

"The staff is very professional, the hotel is perfect, near the subway and highways, we had a pleasant stay"

"Unfortunately, our three-day stay in the apartment did not live up to the expectations for a four-star property. Upon our arrival, we immediately encountered a strong lack of transparency from the staff. In the kitchen, there were dishes with a notice signaling a penalty in case of failure to clean them, but no kit to wash them; only after having to return to the reception were we given what was necessary. The following day, we discovered that neither room tidying nor towel changes were provided. Upon our request to have clean ones, we were told that the service was for a fee (starting from €10): essential information never mentioned at check-in. The condition of the apartment also left much to be desired: The microwave was terrible; the plate didn't turn and it didn't heat. The general cleanliness was approximate, with the bathroom full of exposed plaster and visibly in need of repair. The luggage rack was completely rickety and unusable, as the suitcase risked falling off. The only positive notes that added a point to the rating were the strategic location (just 300 meters from the subway to easily reach the center) and the breakfast, truly varied and with fresh, quality products. Unfortunately, they are not enough to compensate for the disorganization and the lack of attention toward the customer."
