Golfe Hotel Porto-Vecchio

"If you don’t mind being a little bit away from the centre of town, this hotel is a good option. It appears to be newly renovated and is bright and clean throughout. The young lady at the Reception desk was charming and helpful. We had a very pleasant room with our own terrace. It was quite spacious, comfortably furnished and equipped with a safe, a fridge and tea making facilities. The bed was comfortable and the sheets crisp and fresh. The bathroom was well designed, spacious and very clean. Despite the large number of guests staying, the room was very quiet. Breakfast was the usual continental fare, but adequate. The coffee was good. Wifi was a little erratic, but mostly was fast and worked well. We did not eat our evening meal here, preferring to drive five minutes (20 minute walk) into town to dine at one of the many restaurants. Overall, excellent value for money."

"We stayed for one night only, the room was very spacious, very nicely laid out, and we had a great night there. We also had dinner from the suggestion of the day, and pasta with pesto, both were really good, and the service was brilliant. Breakfast was included in the price, and we had fun playing billiards! There's a swimming pool too but did not try it."

"Great spot,personal! The pool is quite nice and the rooms are stunning. Few negative points: the water in the shower is cold and the parking is small so we had to get parked outside on the main road .. The breakfast is various and good tasting!!"
