"We stayed only one night in Superior room was excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel located the front of Gare Saint Jean is really handy and convenient. (Airport bus will arrive at the station and only a few minutes walk to the hotel) The room was spacious, clean and very quiet even the front of busy station! Also has a good air conditioning (we arrived in Bordeaux was hot day) so we could had very good night sleep. Room price was around €110 for Superior room (without breakfast) it is really value for money. Also offers great range of breakfast (cold meats, pastries, hot foods, etc.), you can add it on site if you choose room only. It €19 per person, it’s a bit expensive but we enjoyed. We definitely come back."

"Nice clean hotel, great location. Situated directly across from the main station in Bordeaux, it’s a great base to visit St Emilion or Arcachon or other destinations. The tram stop outside allows easy access to the city centre. The area is quiet, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff welcoming and helpful. We stayed room only and breakfasted at a coffee shop across from the hotel."

"The Mercure Bordeaux Centre Gare Atlantic is an ideal location to stay at if you have a lot of luggage and / or want to stay close to the Gare St Jean station for convenience. It is right across the station within a 2 minute walk and offers express check in and check out services. Rooms are well appointed and spacious, and apart from good air conditioning (which is a must in summer here in Bordeaux with temp reaching over 40 Deg C!), the hotel also has an elevator which is a welcome feature for those traveling with luggage. In addition, the staff are very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay (special shout out to Vicky for all her help - you are truly an asset to the hotel) and will even help you make reservations and guide you with detailed instructions and maps. All in all, a great place to stay right at the station and well connected with both bus and tram to the rest of the city."
