Avanti Village

"Absolutely fantastic. The Avanti Village is meticulously clean, the staff cannot do enough for you (including finding me a parasol to protect my VERY white skin) and delivering it to my sunbed. The self catering rooms are extremely spacious and the beds are more comfortable than mine at home! The room staff will drop anything to you needed. The gardens look like they’ve been trimmed with nail scissors. The walk through the gardens is so beautiful and the bushes, plants and colours etc are amazing & a real spectacle. A big thank you to the young lad that serves tirelessly at the pool bar every day (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) but he definitely deserves Employee of the Holiday. He was not only helpful but also had an occasional English (sorry to say) rude entitled holidaymaker being rude and obnoxious but he dealt with everything with a huge smile. Will we come back - absolutely! Thank you for a great holiday, excellent staff, fantastic food, amazing frappucinos, gorgeous cocktails & a spotless place to stay. The walk to the harbour each night has almost kept off the pounds I gained (ALMOST 😉)"

"Lovely apartments and a great taverna on site. The apartments are very nice with aircon throughout. The grounds are kept to a very good standard, with considerate grounds men always on site. The taverna is excellent. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The staff and manageress were very kind and helpful, going out of their way to provide the best experience. I can highly recommend. The quality of the food is also very good."

"We stayed at Avanti Holiday Village for 2 weeks. What a brilliant place to stay. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The apartment we had was excellent, we had an upstairs apartmentand mainlybecause we had heard about cats roaming around the complex.There are plenty of cats around Paphos, but you are told not to feed them around the apartments. Maybe the apartments need updating, but it was clean and very comfortable. They are very spacious. The beds are massive and very comfortable. We had maid service most days, so we got fresh towels all the time. The pool area is massive with plenty of sunbeds. The reception staff are really good, they will recommend good eating places, places to visit etc. They will also make restaurant reservations and book you taxi's. There are lots of decent eating places close by. It took us 20 minutes to stroll into the harbour area where there are loads of bars, restaurants, and shops. There is also a regular bus service. €2 per journey or just under €7 for a all day ticket. There are lots of local supermarkets but the biggest one is just behind the harbour. The hotel does a breakfast, which is quite good value, but we found a restaurant called Tea for Two, which does a cracking breakfast selection as well as lots of other dishes throughout the day. We ate out every night and never had a bad meal. We ate at Tea for Two, Cavallini, Xiang Gong, Rib Shack, Michael's House, The Lodge, Theos, and Phivos. All were excellent and would highly recommend them. We will definitely be booking again for next year."
