AC Hotel by Marriott Split

"We had a recent 4 night stay at the AC Hotel Split. We paid for the upgrade to a corner room king and got a spectacular room with a view of the Old Town and harbor area. The staff were very accommodating and the bar and restaurant were great places to "hang" after day excursions."

"We stayed at the Hotel AC Marriot during a tour through the Western Balkans. The hotel is a high rise and is about 2.5 KM from the downtown area. Our room, 1819, was very modern and clean. The bathroom was on the small side and needed more counter space, but otherwise very upscale. There was a very nice view from the room to the water. The room had all the normal amenities and a comfortable queen bed. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the hotel staff was friendly. There were just a few issues with the hotel. There was not enough hot water in the shower on the morning we left, and checkout took too much time since a lot of people were leaving at the same time. Also, the hotel restaurant was a bit over priced. While I would recommend the hotel, keep in mind that you will need transportation to reach the downtown."

"I always gladly return to this hotel. Great location on the main road for fast and easy access. Good garage with lots of space although bit pricey for daily charge. Great staff and what I really like about this hotel, they all seem to be locals and they are able to give you good advice on local attractions and hidden gems. Tin at front desk was particularly helpful. Special thanks to Marin at the bar who turned on the game on the big screen for us. There is a good rooftop bar but unfortunately works only in the evening during the summer months."
