Amadria Park Hotel Andrija

"Overall, this is a decent hotel with clean facilities and good swimming pools, but there are quite a few extra costs and some areas where it falls short of expectations. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, and the pools are enjoyable. However, many activities come with additional charges. The water park costs €40 per person, tennis courts are €32, and even sunbeds on the beach cost €10 each. Considering the price of the hotel, I felt some of these extras should have been included, especially when compared with resorts in places like Turkey, Morocco, and elsewhere in Europe. The food throughout the resort is fairly average and quite expensive for what you get. Service was also disappointing at times, with most staff coming across as unfriendly. The exception was the bellboy, who was excellent and consistently helpful throughout our stay. We visited in June, and the resort felt very quiet and not fully operational. Several facilities were closed, including the water park and a number of restaurants. As a result, it didn’t feel like the full holiday experience the resort advertises. Entertainment was limited. Apart from a children’s disco and an outdoor movie, there wasn’t much happening in the evenings for either adults or families. There is also no proper indoor bar area, so if the weather turns bad or it rains, there are very few places to relax indoors. The beach is man-made and quite shingly rather than sandy. The sea itself is lovely and very clear, but again, having to pay extra for sunbeds felt unnecessary given the overall cost of the stay. In summary, the hotel is clean and pleasant with good pools, but the additional charges, limited entertainment, average food, and partially closed facilities meant it didn’t quite live up to expectations."

"We stayed for four nights and had a lovely stay overall. A special mention goes to Piero in the kids' mini disco – he was fantastic with the children and really helped make the evenings enjoyable for them. After the mini disco, there was a family cinema night with popcorn, which was a lovely touch. However, it would be great if the films rotated between different languages rather than relying solely on English subtitles, as my son struggled to follow what was happening. As others have mentioned, the pools were quite cold, although they did warm up as the day went on. The beach is very rocky, so I'd recommend wearing sandals or water shoes, but the sea was refreshing once you got in. Our room was cleaned daily, and the beds were made every day, which we appreciated. Breakfast and dinner had a fairly limited selection, but the food was enjoyable and well prepared. My only real downside was the communication and consistency at the outside pool bar. Several menu items were unavailable, perhaps because it was still early in the season. We also bought the same ice cream on three different days and were charged three different prices. Despite these minor issues, we had a very enjoyable holiday and would recommend this hotel to families looking for a relaxing stay"

"A truly perfect place to relax, especially if you are a family with children. The rooms are fantastic and very spacious and bright, and not to mention the food, this is one of the best hotels in terms of food quality and choice because everyone can find something for themselves that suits them. The only drawback is if you come in the winter months and want to use the water activities for children, then you have to walk from one facility to another, which can be a bit inconvenient."
