"This is a great boutique hotel with all the amenities you might need, but on a low key, intimate scale. The staff are very attentive and helpful. Some individual staff deserve a special mention. Daniel on Reception and Luksa in the restaurant are great ambassadors for the hotel and the city. There are something like only 20 rooms, so it is always quiet and peaceful and never crowded. The accommodation and amenities are spread across the property in a number of small buildings. We opted for a private balcony room with views over the sea which was spacious and well appointed. These are in a building are at the back of the property in the annex. This is a little remote from the main building and closer to the main road which means there is a compromise with some traffic noise. Also, don't underestimate the long walk and hundreds of steps down to and back from the old town. We ended up using Uber which was reasonable for the relatively short distance and certainly less expensive than the taxi figures quoted."

"This is a beautiful hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town, no children under 14 , so nice and quiet place to relax. Rooms were clean and spacious , beds huge and really comfortable and air conditioning worked well. The slightly negative points - as follows: Restaurant food was really expensive and not great. Mini bar prices for water - extortionate ( 6 euro for a small water ) Breakfast was included, but very limited offering If a “treatment “ is in progress in the poolside room - you can’t use the toilet or get a towel - so have to go to your room wet - if you have been in the pool- this room was off limits for around 1.5 hours yesterday Being out of the town, unless you want to take on the hundreds of steps down to the Old Town ( don’t even consider walking back up ) you need a taxi- hotel can book these, but frustratingly the prices down ranged from 11 Euro to 19 Euro for the same trip - and on the way back up , from 18-25 Euro - clear and obvious tourist rip off - nothing to do with the hotel . The restaurants in town are all overpriced , with no great food experienced so far In short , lovely hotel and staff , but Dubrovnik has now been ticked off my list- wouldn’t return , as its so overpriced"
