"Worst Service ! Abusive staff!!"

"Stayed here May 31 – June 3, 2026 (booked through June 6 but had to leave early due to unacceptable conditions). The room had not been properly cleaned — there were visible stains on the bedding and clear evidence that the room had not been serviced between guests. Combined with a strong and persistent foul odor, the room was simply unlivable. During my stay I also suffered a fall on the staircase, twisting my ankle and injuring my back — a serious safety concern that a properly maintained hotel should never allow. When I brought all of these issues to the attention of the front desk, the staff member on duty was dismissive and unhelpful — no apology, no alternative room offered, no attempt to resolve the situation. We checked out three nights early as the conditions were genuinely unsafe and unhygienic. I have full photo and video documentation. The hotel declined to refund the unused nights and the matter is now being disputed through American Express. Salzburg is a beautiful city with no shortage of excellent hotels — it is a real shame that our stay here cast such a shadow over what should have been a wonderful trip. Spend your money somewhere that actually deserves it."

"Beyond all expectations! Extremely friendly staff feeling you at home from the first minute on. Beautiful and very cozy interior decoration, great bed quality, large and good quality choice at breakfast. Perfect location next to train station and a 15 min walk to the Altstadt. And again, absolutely wonderful staff, both at reception and at breakfast. Thank you soooo much for everything, dear Hirschen. We’ll definitely be back! Ps: Choose a room to the quiet and leafy court yard."
