"Arrived 11th oct with a friend, ahead of family who was celebrating a 40th, asked a month earlier if we could be close, there's a lot of apartments in the same town house type build, this never happened, reception staff fabulous, room was again fabulous, shop onside very expensive, town is 10 mins walk either by road or over beach, just a small town, market on a Tuesday, snacks served all day by pool, enough of a selection, the wasps tho are huge, I cudnt eat the food as I spent the whole time running around the area, it was horrendous, ice cream and sweet section around pool was great, bar staff and entertainment people fantastic, restaurant was very disappointing, staff miserable, just standard in catering, breakfast was dreadful, no bacon no toaster, restaurant at evening, you would expect to have 1 nice meal each evening ie meat, had that in a week, ate out most nights after viewing what was being served, very bland food, no drink served with meal unless u asked never experienced this before, I never get bitten, I got bitten at least 30 times was absolutely horrendous, think more cud b done about the wasps, just thank the lord the children never got bit, but all adults did, prob the best hotel in the area, slides was great for the children, all day sun around the pool, and plenty loungers, beach thru the gate and u don't have to pay for loungers there, they have buggies, and it was never too much trouble take me mate home cause we was end apartment 😀 and she cud never find it haha too many vines, if it wasn't for the bites I wud go back, the food was bland, tepid, week before half term was busy, majority other natio alities hope this helps x"

"Overall an average holiday for October. I read lots of reviews, on here and on Facebook and I wish I had taken more into consideration. We arrived late at night and was greeted by a lovely lady on reception who told us we had time for “midnight soup”, once we had finished, a young man took our cases to our room, which was in club A in the annex. After reading reviews about noise, I’d say club A/ the annex is the best place to stay. We had no problems with noise although the walls are thin. Once in our room, our balcony door wouldn’t lock, reception sorted this very promptly, no complaints there. The general consensus of the reviews is that the guests are the problem, which I would have to agree with. We personally had no problems, and didn’t see any fights which were mentioned in a lot of reviews however kids were left to do as they please, we have a young child who loves football however found it hard to spend any time on the football court due to unruly teenagers. The weather wasn’t great during our time here, so we found there wasn’t much to do with a 19 month old when it was wet and raining, we had to spend our time in the room, which is spacious enough for a child to be walking around, this was frustrating for us but I guess you wouldn’t have that problem if it wasn’t raining. The food was really good, always a good selection, more choice at evening meals than breakfast and lunch. The waiters are so lovely and hard working, they made my little boy very happy, giving him lots of attention. Also, our cleaner in club A was fantastic, very hard working and always happy and chatty. The entertainment team are hard working, Jess was lovely and again, my boy loved her and the entertainment. I’d say overall entertainment is very average, if you like bingo every night then great, followed by a kids disco and then a show at 10pm. The shows were good, but apart from that there wasn’t a great choice. I can imagine in the height of the season it would be very hard to get tables/chairs in the bar area, and sunbeds. We had no problems with sunbeds but we didn’t have great weather so guess that’s why. I would recommend using the stairs in the main reception else you are waiting an hour to get in the lifts! Also, a heads up as I wish I would have known the luggage room is on the first floor and not the same floor as the reception desk, we waited 20 mins to get in a lift with our cases to then have to wait again to go back down one floor! To summarise, what we had paid for the holiday was great, for the food and drink offers, However I wish I had paid a bit more for a hotel with different clientele."
