Safely tucked around the headland from buzzy Benidorm, separated by the picturesque Serra Gelada Natural Park and around a 20-minute drive, Altea is a real gem along the Costa Blanca coastline. If you’re planning to see more of Costa Blanca, Altea has good ALSA and Llorente bus connections, and there’s a tram station conveniently placed in the centre of town. A short five-minute stroll from the tram station will bring you to the seafront and Port D’Altea, with lots of bars and views of the yachts. 

And if you’re after a slice of paradise, you’ll love the pristine beaches and azure waters, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Water sports enthusiasts can try activities such as sailing, kayaking, and snorkelling along the coastline.

As the sun sets, take a leisurely stroll along the promenade and enjoy the sound of guitars strumming, with live music and entertainment in the town’s charming squares.
