"The villa was clean enough, the cleaners had literally just left when we arrived at 4pm, it didn’t smell particularly clean, had a smelly mop smell, best way to describe it. Toilet seat was broken, air conditioning didn’t work, the satellite tv didn’t work, bulbs were out both inside and out, it was just little attention to details that were missed. The heated pool was not very heated, certainly took your breath away when we jumped in! The villa is a bit out of town, you definitely need the car, it is on a bus route to town and there are plenty taxis available. The villa itself was somewhat run down, the pictures are definitely a few years old, on the plus side the beds were comfortable and the bedding was nice clean and light. Probably wouldn’t rush back, there’s definitely better and cheaper out there."

"Couldn’t fault the villa no 48 it was clean, spacious and private with lots of room to spread out, any previous complaints about smells in villas, once you run the water it clears, it’s a hot country 😊 Local shops for essentials was excellent with friendly staff ☺️"

"We’ve just returned from a 6-night stay in Villa 38, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. To start, the villa was not clean upon arrival – there was thick dust on the coffee table and side units, and we even found hair in the bath, which immediately set the tone for the rest of the stay. The whole villa felt outdated and poorly maintained, far from what was advertised. The biggest issue was the lack of proper air conditioning. While the listing claimed the villa had A/C, we quickly discovered it was only in two rooms – and one of those units wasn’t working at all. We contacted the manager, who told us a part was being ordered and would arrive the same day, but it never materialised, and no follow-up was provided. This left parts of the villa unbearably hot at night and made sleeping very difficult. Another disappointment was the broken outdoor shower, which we reported. Maintenance staff came twice to “have a look,” but nothing was ever fixed. It became clear that they were already aware of the issue before we reported it – as they knew what was wrong before even inspecting it. On top of that, one of the bedrooms lit up completely at night due to the strong outdoor lighting from the neighbouring villa, making it nearly impossible to sleep in that room without being disturbed. On our final morning, cleaners arrived at 9:20am, despite check-out not being until 10am. They began cleaning around us while we were still trying to pack, which felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Other issues included: • Ant nests around the pool, making it hard to walk barefoot. • Cigarette butts in the stones by the pool – clearly not cleaned thoroughly. • Very little shade during the day, which made spending time outdoors difficult. • TV only worked for radio channels – no actual television viewing. • Outside light switches were located inside bedrooms, meaning once someone had gone to bed, you couldn’t access or control the lighting. Lastly, the pool area is not as it appears in the promotional photos – particularly if you’re booking through Jet2. The pictures are taken at very flattering angles and don’t show the lack of maintenance or space accurately. All in all, this villa was not the one advertised, and our experience was far from relaxing. We wouldn’t return and would advise others to double-check recent reviews and details before booking."
