"We stayed at THB Lanzarote Beach in early March and had a very enjoyable stay. The airport transfer is very straightforward — about 20–25 minutes by taxi and plenty available outside the airport. Expect to pay roughly €20–€25 depending on traffic. One tip: the roads can get quite busy heading to the airport on Saturdays and Sundays, and local school traffic can also slow things down.
The hotel’s location is fantastic. It’s right in the town and directly on the beach, so everything is literally on your doorstep. There are dozens of restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes’ walk, offering a huge variety of food at reasonable prices. Most evenings we paid around €20–€25 for dinner with wine, although there are both cheaper and more expensive options. Lunch was about €10-€15. There are also several supermarkets nearby — the closest about a five-minute walk away and well stocked with anything you might need.
I would definitely recommend booking a sea view if possible. If you can manage stairs, try to get a top-floor room (there are Two floors). Some areas don’t seem to be well serviced by lifts. We stayed in room 2326 which was fantastic — a large room with an adjoining smaller room. One thing to note when booking: if possible, try to get a balcony with a glass front rather than a solid wall. With the wall balconies you must stand up to see the view.
The room itself included the bed area, sofa space and a kitchenette all in one — there isn’t a separate bedroom, but ours was large enough to comfortably accommodate everything. The room was slightly worn in places but nothing that impacted our stay. Supplies were basic but adequate to get started (tea, coffee, milk and water). The kitchenette is also very basic but perfectly usable — although oddly there was no wine bottle opener!
The bathroom was good with shampoo, shower gel, a vanity pack and a decent hairdryer.
Reception staff gave us a very warm welcome and provided a map of the hotel and information on local tours. The tours they offer appear to be priced similarly to those available locally. Through out our stay Reception we very helpful.
The swimming pool is large and lovely, although it’s only heated to about 18°C so the sea is probably warmer. There is also a very small toddler pool. The weather during our stay wasn’t great, but there was still an entertainment team organising activities for anyone who wanted to join in.
The cleaning staff were excellent — very friendly and the rooms, hotel and grounds were kept very clean. There are a few areas where tiles are cracked or worn, so if small maintenance issues are something that will spoil your holiday it’s worth noting, no issue for us.
Behind the hotel there is direct access to the beach, with particularly easy access from Block 2 which everyone can use. If you enjoy walking, there’s a well-paved seafront promenade with a bike lane that stretches for at least 6 km (as far as we walked).
One final tip: if you’re shopping for gifts, check a few places before buying. We found the shops along the waterfront often had nicer items at the same prices as the shops in the internal market areas.
Overall, this is a well-located hotel with friendly staff and everything you need nearby — a great base for a stay in Costa Teguise. It is a very lively area even early March, so if you are looking for a quiet spot this might not be the place to go, however the hotel was tranquil. I would come back."
