A boutique bolthole in a smart Roman neighbourhood

On a quiet street in Rome, just a five-minute walk to Lepanto metro station, sits this cosy hotel. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, you’ll have the rest of Rome at your fingertips.

The B Place Hotel Rome is in the Prati neighbourhood, a fancier area known for its swanky boutiques, and the sort of residential neighbourhood that offers a glimpse into the lives of today’s Romans. It’s on the other side of the River Tiber than many of Rome’s key attractions, but it’s well-connected by public transport, and you can walk to Vatican City if you’re feeling especially sprightly.

There’s a continental breakfast where you won’t want to miss the freshly squeezed juices and homemade ciambelloni, a type of Italian cake. The concierge can give you pointers on local trattorias to try when you’re out and about. There are also plenty of wine bars and cocktail lounges to try in the Prati neighbourhood, although the hotel has a small rooftop terrace that makes a lovely spot for sundowners.
