Mykonos is a year-round destination but the majority of visitors to the island choose to fly in June, July and August when the weather is ideal for spending long days on the beach and in the Aegean Sea. A pleasant ocean breeze stops sunbathers from baking completely and Mykonos' legendary nightlife is in its prime.

Avoid the crowds

Come September and October, the bigger groupings of tourists have left the island and Mykonos becomes much more relaxed. The water temperatures are still high but the prices for hotels and flights are decidedly lower. April and May offer similarly good conditions.
