easyJet announces 18 new routes for summer 2027 including a brand new destination from the UK

easyJet has today announced 18 new routes and package holidays are on sale from the UK for next summer to Ajaccio, Barcelona, Bastia, Bilbao, Burgas, Girona, Hamburg, Larnaca, Milan, Montpellier, Murcia, Majorca, Rhodes, Rome, Thessaloniki and Tivat.

This includes six new routes to Spain including brand new destination Girona, as well as six new routes from Scottish airports. Package holidays are available on all new routes through easyJet holidays.

easyJet will launch flights to Girona for the first time from the UK, with a route from Liverpool starting on 28 March operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays and a route from London Gatwick starting on 3 June and operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Located in the heart of Catalonia, Girona offers visitors easy access to the beaches and resorts of the Costa Brava, as well as a wealth of history, culture and renowned gastronomy. easyJet will be the only airline offering a route from Liverpool to Girona providing a direct connection for customers in the North.

The airline is further expanding its Spain network with new flights from Aberdeen to Barcelona and Majorca. The Barcelona route will launch on 31 March and operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays with easyJet becoming the only airline to offer a route between Aberdeen and Barcelona. The new route to Majorca will begin from 3 May and operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.

Liverpool will also gain a new Spanish route to Murcia from 29 March, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays with easyJet the only airline to offer the route. While Edinburgh will welcome a new connection to Bilbao from 30 March, operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

easyJet will also offer more connections to France, with flights from London Gatwick to Ajaccio starting on 30 June with departures twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays while a new route from Bristol to Montpellier launches on 1 July, operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.

easyJet will be the only airline offering flights on both of these routes, as well as Manchester to Bastia, in Corsica, which will launch on 29 June and operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

For Birmingham, easyJet will become the only carrier offering a route to Milan Malpensa when flights launch on 29 March with departures twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, while flights from Edinburgh to Rome Fiumicino launch on 30 March, operating twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The airline is also continuing to grow its network to Montenegro with flights from Edinburgh to Tivat launching on 29 March, operating twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays, with a Birmingham to Tivat route starting from 3 May, also departing on Mondays and Thursdays.

Edinburgh will also gain a new route to Hamburg from 29 March, with flights operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.

easyJet is the first airline to offer a route from Edinburgh to Tivat and will also be the only airline offering a route from Edinburgh to Hamburg continuing its commitment to Scottish customers.

easyJet will also connect Bristol to Bulgaria, with a new route launching to Burgas on 28 May, operating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

The airline is also continuing to grow its Newcastle base with a new route to Larnaca launching on 31 March with weekly departures on Wednesdays.

There will also be more options for those travelling to Greece with a new exclusive route from London Southend to Rhodes starting on 27 April and operating twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and London Luton to Thessaloniki launching on 1 May with weekly Saturday departures.

Package holidays can be booked to all destinations with easyJet holidays. Bookable in advance with a low deposit of £60 per person, all packages include flights and a handpicked hotel, as well as 23kg luggage and transfers on beach getaways.
