easyJet has today announced 13 new UK routes launching this winter, including flights and package holidays to a brand-new destination in Germany for the very first time.

This festive season, easyJet will launch flights and packages to Nuremberg, with services departing from Manchester from 2 November on Mondays and Fridays, London Gatwick from 19 November on Thursdays and Sundays and London Luton from 23 November on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Known as the cultural heart of Franconia, Nuremberg is home to one of Europe’s oldest and most celebrated Christmas markets. The famous Christkindlesmarkt, which dates back to the 16th century, attracts visitors from around the world to experience the magic of one of Germany’s most iconic festive destinations.

easyJet will also offer more flight options from its London airports, with new routes launching to Morocco, France and Egypt. Flights from London Luton to Rabat launch on 5 November, followed by London Southend to Lyon from 3 December, operating on Thursdays and Sundays. Rounding out the new additions, flights from London Southend to Sharm El Sheikh will commence on 4 January, departing on Mondays and Fridays.

The airline is also strengthening its network to Hungary, with new flights and package holidays to Budapest launching from three UK airports. Services from Bristol and Belfast International will begin on 17 November, operating on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while flights from Liverpool will start on 19 November, running twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays – ideal for a festive weekend break.

In Scotland, a new service from Edinburgh to Tromsø in Norway will launch on 30 November, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays and offering customers the only direct route to the ‘Gateway to the Arctic’. Meanwhile, in time for the festive season, flights from Glasgow to Krakow in Poland will begin on 13 November, with departures twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.

easyJet will boost its Manchester network with a new service to Vienna in Austria, launching on 19 November with departures up to two times a week on Mondays and Fridays.

In addition, easyJet is launching its first international route from the Isle of Man, with a new weekly service to Geneva starting on 19 December, operating on Saturdays. The route will provide the only direct connection between the Isle of Man and Switzerland.

The new routes bring the airline's total number of winter services launched in the past two weeks to 26. Last week's announcement included a new direct service from Manchester to Sphinx Airport, as well as the carrier's first ever international route from Cornwall Airport Newquay to Geneva.

Package holidays are available to book with easyJet holidays on all new routes excluding Luton to Rabat. All packages include flights and hotel, plus 23kg luggage and transfers on beach destinations such as Sharm El Sheikh.

Holidaymakers can book their winter break with a low deposit of £60 per person and until 1 July 2026, can save up to £200** on new bookings with the code FOOTBALL26.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet's UK Country Manager, said:

" We're thrilled to be announcing a further 13 new routes this winter, bringing the number of new routes on sale over the past two weeks to a total of 26. A real statement of our commitment to giving customers across the UK more choice from their local airport.

From winter sun escapes to magical Christmas market breaks, there's never been a better time to book a flight or package holiday with easyJet. We look forward to welcoming even more customers on board for their winter holidays."

easyJet and easyJet Holidays have introduced their Book with Confidence Promise to reassure customers on their travel plans. The pledge guarantees that flight and package prices will not increase in price once booked and confirms that easyJet intends to operate a full schedule across its network, despite competitors cutting routes, as easyJet prepares to fly over 50 million passengers this summer.

easyJet flies on more of Europe’s most popular routes than any other airline and carried 100 million passengers in 2025. The airline has over 350 aircraft flying on over 1,200 routes to more than 160 airports across 35 countries. Over 300 million Europeans live within one hour's drive of an easyJet airport.

easyJet aims to be a good corporate citizen, employing people on local contracts in nine countries across Europe in full compliance with national laws and recognising their trade unions. The airline supports several local charities and has a corporate partnership with UNICEF which has raised over £17m for the most vulnerable children since it was established in 2012.

In 2022, easyJet published its roadmap to net zero by 2050. The roadmap, which also features a combination of fleet renewal, operational efficiencies, airspace modernisation, Sustainable Aviation Fuel and carbon removal technology, has set an ambitious interim carbon emissions intensity reduction target of 35% by 2035, validated by the Science-based targets initiative (SBTi). The airline’s ultimate aim is to fully transition its fleet to zero carbon emission technology, which it will achieve through a number of strategic partnerships including with Airbus, Rolls-Royce and GKN Aerospace Solutions. Since 2000, the airline has successfully reduced its carbon emissions per passenger, per kilometre by one-third and is the number 1 ESG rated airline in Europe by Sustainalytics, MSCI and CDP.

Innovation is in easyJet’s DNA – since launching over 30 years ago, easyJet changed the way people fly to the present day where the airline leads the industry in digital and operational innovations to make travel more easy and affordable for its passengers.

In 2023 easyJet was named by TIME as one of the World’s Best Companies and a Leader in Diversity 2024 by The Financial Times.
