For guaranteed sunshine, plenty of heat and little chance of rain, fly to Tivat in July or August. This is the prime weather for beach days at Plavi Horizonti, trips to Sv. Nikola Island and evening strolls by the marina to see the luxury yachts as the jetset crowd sail into town. It's also when the Purgatorije International Festival of Mediterranean Theatre will be in full swing.

Avoid the crowds

For competitive flight and hotel prices, fly into Tivat in May, June or September. May weather is warm and the most comfortable for hiking Vrmac Mountain and by June the beach clubs will start to get busy. September's sea temperatures will still be perfectly pleasant for swimming with dry weather largely expected until October and you'll find much more space on the streets and beaches.
