Fly into Larnaca, Cyprus' third largest city, between July and August for high daytime temperatures, balmy evenings and peak summertime fun. There's lots going on during these mid-summer months with lively nightclubs down by the sea, lots of sunbathers on the two main beaches and aqua parks aplenty to splash about in.

Avoid the crowds

For warm yet comfortable temperatures and less crowds, consider flying into Larnaca in spring to enjoy an early spell of Mediterranean sunshine. Between March and May, Larnaca blooms with colourful flowers and if you travel over Greek Orthodox Easter, you'll get to experience a raft of festivities with parades, carnivals and fancy-dress parties.
