We're proud to be flying from Terminal 1 of Berlin Brandenburg (BER).

1. DEPARTING FROM BER T1

A. Arrival at airport

  • Terminal 1 is the centrally located main building at the airport. The "Flughafen BER - Terminals 1-2" railway station is located in the terminal basement. The terminal can be reached by bus, regional trains, S-bahn trains, and by car.  Several car parks and multi-storey car parks are available.

B. Check-in online

  • Whether you are travelling with cabin bag only or hold luggage, please check in online.
  • You can check in online for free and print your boarding pass between 30 days and up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight.

C. Bag Drop

  • In Terminal 1, our Bag Drop is located on the left hand side of the main check in hall
  • Please check the flight information screens in the terminal to identify the exact bag drop islands

D. Departures

  • From bag drop, you can proceed to any of the available security checkpoints in Terminal 1
  • The flight information screens throughout the check in hall are indicating which security checkpoint has the shortest waiting time 
  • The market place after security has multiple retail as well as food and drink options that you can enjoy
  • We use A and B gates on level 1 for Schengen flights and C and D gates on level 2 for non-Schengen flights
  • In case you travel to a non-Schengen destination, please proceed through passport control on level 2 to reach the C and D gates. A number of eGates are available for eligible passport holders
  • Please check the flight information screens for your departure gate (gates are usually displayed 120 to 60 minutes prior to the departure)
  • Closer to your gate, you’ll find additional food outlets and shops
  • Power sockets and charging stations are available throughout the departure gate areas

2. ARRIVING AT BER T1

  • All our flights arrive at Terminal 1 
  • Arrivals at terminal positions follow the signage into the baggage reclaim area
  • Arrivals from bus positions are dropped at central bus arrival gates and follow the signage into the baggage reclaim area  
  • Arrivals from non-Schengen countries must pass passport control. A number of eGates are available for eligible passport holders
  • Toilet facilities are available throughout the terminal as well as in the baggage reclaim area

3. A FEW USEFUL TIPS

  • BER is a ‘silent’ terminal, which means announcements are normally not made. 
  • You will board your aircraft mainly via a jetbridge, some via front and rear steps and some may require a short bus journey to the aircraft. 
  • Strollers for children are available after security

Reserve a security times slot and beat the queues.

You can save time at the airport by using the dedicated security queue service “BER Runway”. This service is provided by Berlin Airport free of charge, but it must be booked in advance. 5. READY TO GO ?


Check-in online

Remember to check in online and print your boarding pass for your flight. The service is free and is available from 30 days and up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight.


Cabin bags only?
If you only have cabin bags you can head straight to the departure gate. Remember to check in online 30 days and up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure and to print your boarding pass ready for your flight.


Hold luggage
If you have hold luggage, check in online and print your boarding pass, then once at the airport, take your bags to one of the easyJet 'Bag drop' desks located in the departure hall.

If you have any specific needs or access requirements during your trip, you can request Special Assistance online through Manage Bookings or by calling our Special Assistance Team, no later than 48 hours before your scheduled departure time.


On time
We recommend arriving at the airport with plenty of time before you depart so you can get through security and find your boarding gate.
