Liverpool Airport Guide

"Hello, I’m Leanne and I’m the Airport Manager for easyJet in Liverpool. The local team and I have put together this guide to help your find your way around our airport. We see it from your point of you and know how hard it can be to navigate around an airport (especially with your family in tow) so hopefully this guide will give you some helpful tips to make your journey ‘stress-free’!" Departing from Liverpool Airport
1. Check-in online

- Whether you are travelling with cabin bag only or hold luggage, please check in online.
- You can check in online and print your boarding pass from 30 days and up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight.
2. Bag Drop

- Liverpool airport has one terminal building.
- You can drop your bags 2 hours before your flight departs.
- Once you have dropped your bags off, proceed left through to security control. Please leave yourself plenty of time to pass through the security process.
3. Departures

- Liquid in hand luggage! Remember: maximum of 1 Litre in capacity, 20cm x20cm clear and resalable bag.
- All easyJet flights depart between gates 1 to 10.
- There’s a wide variety of shops and restaurants located after the security control.
Arriving at Liverpool Airport
- There is baggage facilities agents to assist you with any queries on your arrival. They are located in the International Arrivals Hall and are available between 0800-2330.
- If you are on an international flight, remember to have your passport ready!

- Boarding announcements are not made throughout the departure lounge, only within the gate area.
- For flights departing from Gates 5, 6 or 7 (lower departures) you will be boarded via a coach to the aircraft.
- If you require assistance to Gates 5, 6 or 7 (lower departures) via the lift you will need to be escorted by a Passenger Service Agent. Please ask for assistance at Gate 3.
- Leave yourself enough time to pass through security control and reach to your gate on time. Once you pass through security control there is a 10 minute walk to your gate.
- If you have no bags to drop off, you can proceed straight to security and then to the gate.

Check-in online
Remember to check in online and print your boarding pass for your flight. The service is free and is available from 30 days and up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight.

Cabin bags only?
If you only have cabin bags you can head straight to the departure gate. Remember to check in online 30 days and up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure and to print your boarding pass ready for your flight.

Hold luggage
If you have hold luggage, check in online and print your boarding pass, then once at the airport, take your bags to one of the easyJet 'Bag drop' desks located in the departure hall.

Need some help?
If you have any specific needs or access requirements during your trip, you can request Special Assistance online through Manage Bookings or by calling our Special Assistance Team, no later than 48 hours before your scheduled departure time.

On time
We recommend arriving at the airport with plenty of time before you depart so you can get through security and find your boarding gate.
