easyJet announces Europe-wide partnerships to mark Pride 2026
easyJet today announces a summer-long programme of partnerships to mark Pride 2026, supporting LGBTQ+ communities across the UK and Europe through a range of events, sponsorships and community collaborations.
Running from June to September, the initiative will see the airline work with Pride organisations and advocacy groups across Europe to help broaden access to Pride celebrations while supporting inclusion, representation and intersectionality. From local community events to international celebrations, the partnerships aim to create opportunities for people to connect, celebrate and feel represented.
The programme forms part of easyJet’s wider commitment to inclusion and diversity, with a focus on creating opportunities for everyone to thrive. Through colleague networks including Fly with Pride, easyJet supports greater visibility, representation and allyship for LGBTQI+ colleagues across the business through year-round events and initiatives.
The partnerships and sponsorships taking place this summer include:
Blackpool Pride | 6 June
easyJet and easyJet holidays are proud to sponsor Blackpool Pride for the first time, supporting the festival’s 20th anniversary celebrations. As part of the partnership, easyJet holidays donated package holiday credit to the event’s fundraising raffle, raising over £1,000 to help more young people and local community members across Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde attend the festival.
Aviation Pride UK – Pride in London | 3 July – 5 July
easyJet colleagues will join Aviation Pride UK (APUK) at this year’s Pride in London parade as part of the airline’s ongoing partnership with the organisation to support LGBTQ+ inclusion within the aviation industry.
WorldPride Amsterdam | 9 July – 8 August
As part of its support for Pride celebrations across Europe, easyJet is sponsoring the Seniors Concert at WorldPride Amsterdam, helping create an inclusive and accessible space for older members of the LGBTQ+ community to come together, celebrate and take part in the wider festivities.
Global Black Pride Paris | 9 – 15 September
Recognising the importance of intersectionality and equitable access to Pride celebrations, easyJet is supporting the Global Black Pride Scholarship Programme, helping Black LGBTQI+ activists, advocates and community leaders from around the world travel to and participate in the conference, human rights discussions, and celebration.
Oliver Henry, Head of Inclusion and Wellbeing at easyJet, said:
“At easyJet, we are committed to championing inclusion for our people, our customers and the communities we serve. Pride is both a moment of celebration and an opportunity to support meaningful access and participation. Through these partnerships, we’re proud to help make Pride more accessible, whether that’s supporting local community events, enabling travel to global celebrations, or helping ensure people of all ages and backgrounds can take part in ways that feel safe and welcoming.”
Ian Ashton, Chair of easyJet’s Fly with Pride Network and cabin crew, said:
“Pride Month is an important opportunity to celebrate our LGBTQI+ colleagues, while also recognising that inclusion is something we champion throughout the entire year. Through initiatives such as our Fly with Pride network, we are proud to support greater visibility, representation and allyship across easyJet as we continue working to build a diverse workplace where everyone can thrive and be the best version of themselves.”
