Amsterdam Airport Guide

"Welcome to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. We have a great ground crew team here who are happy to help make your journey easy, at every step. Amsterdam is a large airport so make sure to leave plenty of time to get to catch your flight and we hope you have an enjoyable journey with easyJet!" (Felice, Airport Manager)

Departing from Amsterdam Airport

1. Check-in online

- Whether you are travelling with cabin bag only or hold luggage, please check in online.
- You can check in online and print your boarding pass from 30 days and up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight.

2. Bag Drop

- Amsterdam has one terminal building
- The Bag Drop is located in Hall 3

3. Departures

- Flights departing to the UK flights depart from Gates ‘H’ (the furthest gate is approximately a 10 minute walk)
- All other easyJet flights (within the Schengen area) depart Gates ‘M’ (the furthest gate is approximately a 5 minute walk)
- Please be aware that AMS is a large airport and in order for your flight to leave on time, we may need to call you to board up to 60 minutes before your flight departs, giving you time to pass through security and get to your gate.
- If you are travelling with children and you are bringing your own buggy to the gate, please be aware that you will enter a pre-boarding area on the ground floor. The area can be accessed by steps only.

Arriving at Amsterdam Airport

- Arrivals from the UK are required to go through passport control. All other easyJet arrivals can proceed straight to baggage collection and arrivals.

A few useful tips

- Amsterdam is a ‘silent’ terminal, therefore announcements are not made for flights or customers

- If you are departing from the ‘H’ gates, shops, restaurants, amenities are located after the central security point.

- If departing from the ‘M’ gates, amenities are located after security but there are only a few shops.

- Before you board the aircraft, you can expect to enter a pre-boarding room, and then you will board the aircraft using steps.
