Competition Terms and Conditions
Let your imagination travel
These terms and conditions apply to your entry to easyJet’s and Read the Room Bookstore Competition. Please make sure to read them carefully as they contain the important details you need to know!
By purchasing a special edition easyJet cake and submitting your registration form, you are entering the competition and accepting these terms and conditions and our privacy notice. We must receive your registration form by 16:00 CET on 21 February 2026.
General
- easyJet Airline Company Limited, Hangar 89, London Luton Airport, LU2 9PF (”easyJet”) is the co- promoter of the competition. We are very excited to be partnering up with READ THE ROOM BOOKSTORE, 3 Rue Jean-Pierre Papon, 06300 Nice (“Read the Room Bookstore”) as a co-promoter of the competition (together, “we”, “our” “us”).
- The competition will start at 09:30 CET on Tuesday 10 February 2026 and end at 16:00 CET on Saturday 21 February 2026 or when the final special edition easyJet cake has been sold on Saturday 21 February 2026 (whichever is the earliest) (the “Competition Period”).
- Entry is open to anyone aged 18 or over, excluding employees of easyJet, Read the Room Bookstore or any of our affiliated companies.
- By purchasing a special edition easyJet cake (“easyJet Cake”) and submitting your registration form by the Closing Date, you are entering the competition and accepting these terms and conditions and easyJet’s privacy notice.
- We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition (including these terms and conditions) without notice, but only where it’s necessary for us to do so. Any changes to the competition will be published at http://easyjet.com/en/terms-and-conditions/read-the-room.
- Any complaints about the competition can be sent by email to easyJet at social2@easyJet.com within one month of the end date of the Competition Period and we will endeavour to deal with any complaints as soon as reasonably possible.
- These terms are governed by the laws of France and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the French courts.
easyJet Cake purchase and availability
- The easyJet Cakes are subject to availability and may be purchased during the Competition Period at Read the Room Bookstore during its opening hours (see READ THE ROOM BOOKSTORE (@readtheroombookstore) Instagram): Tuesday-Friday 09.30-17:30 & Saturday 09:00-16:00pm (CET).
- easyJet Cakes are limited to one per person and you may only enter the competition once.
- Only 30 easyJet Cakes are available each day on a first come first served basis. Once the easyJet Cakes have sold out each day, no more will be available that day.
How to enter
- You enter the Competition by purchasing an easyJet Cake and submitting a registration form before the end of the Competition Period.
- After you purchase an easyJet Cake, Read the Room Bookstore will provide you with a card with a unique number (your “Cake Number”) and a QR code to access easyJet’s online registration form.
- You must register your Cake Number, name, telephone number, and email address on the registration form. easyJet must receive your registration form by 16:00 CET on 21 February 2026.
- Only one registration form per Cake Number will be accepted. Any duplicated entries will be disregarded.
- Your entry is counted when easyJet receives your completed registration form. We are not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, or corrupted entries due to technical issues.
- We will not accept entries that are incomplete, invalid or received after the Closing Date. We may disqualify anyone who acts unlawfully or improperly.
- All valid Cake Numbers that are registered correctly have an equal chance of being selected.
Prizes
- There are 3 prizes up for grabs. Each prize consists of:
1. a flight voucher for return easyJet flights for two people departing from Nice airport to any available easyJet destination within the United Kingdom, with a retail value of up to €400 (including airport taxes); and
2. up to €100 allowance to spend on luggage for the booking which must be added to your booking before you check-in. If you choose not to add any luggage, the unused amount will not be paid to you or carried over.
- Each person on the booking may also bring one small cabin bag (maximum dimensions: 45x36x20 cm) free of charge. Any additional luggage will need to be booked at extra cost. Flights, locations and dates are subject to availability.
- Flights must be booked before 21 February 2027.
How the winner is chosen
- 3 winners will be chosen at random by drawing Cake Numbers using a random generator. The draw will take place at 16:30 CET on 21 February 2026.
- After the draw, the winning Cake Numbers will be announced by Read the Room Bookstore via Instagram Stories: READ THE ROOM BOOKSTORE.
- Winners will then be contacted directly by easyJet via email to confirm their prize and collect the flight voucher.
- Only one prize per person. If someone is selected more than once, they will win one prize and another eligible entry will be randomly selected from the original valid entries to find a winner for the second prize.
- If easyJet cannot contact a winner, or a winner does not accept the prize by 28 February 2026, another eligible entry will be randomly selected from the original valid entries.
If you win
- If you win, easyJet will give you instructions on how to redeem your prize when easyJet notifies you.
- easyJet may ask you to provide proof of identity, residency, and age so that they are sure you are who you say you are and are eligible to receive the prize.
- You can’t exchange the prize for cash or ask us to give it to someone else (not that you’d want to!). easyJet will use reasonable efforts to award the prize as described but if due to unforeseen circumstances easyJet is unable to do that, easyJet will substitute it for another prize of equal or higher value.
- You’ll be responsible for any insurance and any other expenses, fees and costs connected with the use of the prize that are not included in the prize description. If you are lucky enough to win the prize and you need a valid passport or other travel documentation and visas to take it, you’ll need to sort these out for yourself.
- You are responsible for your use of the prize, including complying with any applicable terms and conditions of use. Of course, if you win a prize, you’ll be good and comply with all relevant laws, rules and regulations.
- Once the booking is confirmed, easyJet booking conditions will apply to the booking in addition to these competition terms and conditions. The booking conditions are available on request or can be found at: Terms and Conditions | easyJet.
- The nature of the competition and prize may be such that it poses health, or safety risks or risks normally associated with travel to you. Participations in the competition and prize is at your own risk and you should consider any health, safety and travel risks and take appropriate precautions (including arrange insurances) to guard against those risks.
- easyJet and Read The Room Bookstore are not liable for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, costs, expenses, or claims suffered by any person in connection with this promotion except for any liability which cannot be excluded by French law.
What happens to my entry and personal information
- We will only use the personal information provided to us during this promotion to conduct the promotion and award the prizes.
- easyJet will keep your personal information in accordance with easyJet’s privacy policy at easyJet's Privacy Notice | easyJet.

“Let your imagination travel” competition – 10-21 February 2026
Introduction
easyJet Airline Company Limited (easyJet or We or Our or Us), is responsible for the processing of your Personal Data for the purpose of this Competition. easyJet is a company registered in England with its registered office at Hangar 89, London Luton Airport, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU2 9PF.
This notice is aimed at all participants taking part to Let your imagination travel (the Competition) to win a free easyJet return flight for two people. In this policy, We explain how We collect and use your Personal Data as part of the Competition.
‘Personal Data’ basically means any information that directly or indirectly identifies you. We are responsible for deciding how to use and collect Personal Data and to ensure it is handled properly in line with this privacy notice.
This Competition is only available to participants who are aged 18 or over. Anyone aged under 18 years will not be allowed to participate meaning your Personal Data will also be deleted. Entering the competition on someone else’s behalf is not allowed, regardless of their age or your relationship with them.
Personal Data we collect and share about you as part of the Competition
We use this Personal Data to run and manage the Competition. We will collect and share your Personal Data within easyJet group, our suppliers and partners supporting us for the Competition.

If you are the lucky winner(s), we will contact you directly via email to announce you the good news. We may firstly require further information such as proof of identity, residency and/or your age to verify that you are who you say you are. Once you confirmed your details with Us, we will deliver the prize (easyJet return flight) to you by email. We will need to collect more Personal Data about you in accordance with Our Privacy Notice in order to allow you to travel with us.
We use your Personal Data to run, manage, and promote the Competition. We may also share the Personal Data with members of the easyJet family (Our group companies) and Our service providers to support Us to run, manage, and promote the Competition.
The above uses and data sharing activities are important to Us to enable Us to run Our business, and We think are fair on you (sometimes called “legitimate interests”).
In some cases, We need to use and share Personal Data to ensure We comply with legal obligations.
How We protect your Personal Data
We are committed to protecting the Personal Data we hold about you as part of this Competition by taking appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised, unlawful, or accidental access, loss, destruction or damage to your Personal Data. We are constantly taking steps to improve in the field of Information Security as the sector itself is constantly changing as well.
Rights in relation to the Personal Data
Data protection laws give you specific rights in relation to your Personal Data We process for the Competition. These rights are the rights to ask Us:
- for a copy of the Personal Data;
- to transfer the Personal Data to you or a third party in a portable and reusable format;
- to correct incorrect or incomplete information about you;
- to delete the Personal Data;
- to limit, or object to, how We use the Personal Data; and
- to withdraw consent (where applicable).

Some of these rights are not available to you at all times and where We can’t do what you have asked, We will reply to you to say why not.
