Ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge

"Great location Atmosphere ok Room was out dated and you could hear everything outside in the street and constant banging of doors inside the hotel The breakfast was cold and there was no restaurant on the evenings that we were there Monday to friday"

"Actually I would rate my stay as -1 but the choice was limited. The position of the rooms booked through a third party , are located in the midst of the Edinburgh night life and the noise is impossible to sleep in . I’m supposed to have breakfast included but I’ll doubt I’ll see that as it’s already gone 2.30 and I haven’t slept a wink. Ok maybe it’s my age but I could swear I’m lying on a board ,masquerading as a bed . This is deffo the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in so please heed the warnings"

"We spent four nights at the South Bridge Ibis last week and were most impressed. The management and staff have clearly thought carefully about what market they wish to serve and do it very well. There are no frills but the rooms, beds, shower etc provide what is needed in a simple and stylish way. Staff costs are obviously kept to a minimum but they work productively and deliver what is required effectively and without fuss. The breakfasts were excellent and my wife commented that our room was 'extremely clean', this is high praise indeed. Well done to all concerned"
