L Hotel Sarigerme

"We had a swim up room, clean and spacious. The sun does go off some of the swim up rooms by around midday. Our towels were changed daily, there is a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and a free safe. The bed is hard but that suits us. There is a good choice at breakfast and the freshly made omelettes or poached eggs are very nice. We ate most lunchtimes at the hotel, there is a good choice of food to suit most tastes and the prices are very reasonable. As most people have written Simon and Jimmy are very polite, friendly and make you feel very welcome. We also must shout out to the guy on reception (sorry we didn’t catch your name), again very friendly, polite and helpful, thank you. We highly recommend the restaurant Dorya at the bottom of the road out of the hotel turn left first restaurant you come to. Lovely food lovely people we ate there twice and had a drink there a few times. If it’s a bit quiet don’t let that put you off it’s definitely worth a visit. There was one big downside to our holiday and nothing the hotel could do about it. Unfortunately the week we booked there were some other guests staying who were extremely loud, they drank all day every day and got louder and louder the more drunk they got and as the days went on. They did not give a thought about any other guests, the swearing was so bad, even when there were children around they did not care. Most guests went to the beach or out everyday as it was unbearable, we spoke to a lot of other guests who all said the same, they couldn’t stand the continuous noise and swearing. Unfortunately this did spoil our holiday and a lovely hotel."

"I would give 3.5 if I could. The hotel is nice with friendly staff, smaller than it looks in the pictures. Rooms were spacious and modern, pool and bath towels, kettle with tea and coffee, replenished daily if you click the "clean my room" button. Pool was good, could be cleaned more often. We had a swim up room and the layout was great, although most of the swim ups lose the sun at lunchtime. Beach was ok, about 8 minutes walk from the hotel. Blue bracelets are left in the room, which no one told us are for the beach to get free sunbeds. Also there were no flags or markings so had to ask people where the hotel beach section was. Had dinner a few times at the hotel, well priced and lovely pizzas. Breakfast was ok but limited. Omelettes and eggs cooked to order, but limited choice and average quality. Not much fruit or change in selection at all. Location is good, 8 minutes from town and the same from the beach in the other direction. Lots of guests know each other, so must be regular visitors which is a good sign."
