Montebello Resort Hotel

"booked with jet2, there rating is a 4 star!! Promised kids buffet, kids entertainment, evening entertainment, read reviews, seemed decent. £3000+ for two adults and one child, two rooms. What a shambles! Jet2 should be ashamed! Where do i start… The room, Floor filthy the entire time, bed rock hard and bed changed once with mattress showing. Wardrobe is half size not adequate for full length dresses. Balcony tiny and not cleaned in ten nights. Water was cold most nights!! Food Flies all over the food. No glasses except from evening meal. Drinks on an evening in plastic cups! Juices on a morning in paper cups. Waiters/Waitresses not friendly at all and on phones. No food labelled. No kids buffer even though jet2 advertised this. Entertainment We saw four evening shows in ten nights!! No mini disco. I had gum ulcers, never had before, but now realise it was from the unwashed cups! No life guards on the main pool or slides. AVOID!!"

"Very good price to comfort ratio in oludeniz. We've been in many other hotels here and can compare :) Of course some problems might happen, but personal doing their best to solve. We had our family member suddenly joined us on second day and with kind help from ms. Semiha (from reservation department) we got bigger room for very good price without new booking. Also when we had a problem with hot water being not very hot, hotel handyman (sorry, forgot the name) solved it in just couple of hours. Food and cleaning are fairly good, comparable to other 5star hotels."

"Was my first time abroad with my boyfriend first of all the meal varieties wasn’t as good as expected . One night I experienced having my drink spiked by the bar tender and I knew this due to him taking my drink off the table and I asked for it back .It took him a while to bring it back .As a security officer my eyes was on him why it took him a while to get back from the service hatch I don’t know why at the time . I was fine the one minute I drank my drink got back to the room within 10 minutes I was being sick and my head didn’t feel like anything I’ve experienced before . The next day i had to sleep all morning in bed .I went and saw head of entertainment and he said there was no way his bar staff would do that .He said there are cameras each corner of the bar area . I did check and they are not facing behind the bar but just infront of it .. I wasnt happy with the outcome and staff not taking me seriously .. For the rest of the holiday the head of entertainment wasn’t as friendly with myself and my boyfriend .. Food was not very appetising as made out to be but tried to make the most of it .. Unfortunately on the second week of stay my boyfriend became ill being sick and needing the toilet a lot with a fever headaches and stomache cramps .. I told staff and they didn’t seem interested . I went to local chemist and got some Medication which only helped slightly .. All my boyfriend could do was sleep and try and rest .. Unfortunately travelling home I had to tell the shuttle bus driver he feels sick and needed sick bags .. had to tell flight attendant too .. when we got back to uk my boyfriend had to go to doctors he had to send off stool samples and it came back with the results of salmonella.He had to have another two weeks off work due to it being really bad .. What a first holiday bad experience we had together .. Never going back again .. I will also tell friends never to go too .."
