Regnum The Crown

"The worst service we've encountered at a so called top resort. Our first impressions were great, the rooms were the best I have ever stayed in and the hotel is fantastic. Food was good for an all inclusive and to be expected. Kids club was again top class. This hotel gets let down by its service, we had multiple instances of staff being rude, queuing with customers to eat at the various food stalls and we even saw two staff members drinking corona at the poolside! Myself and my 15 year old played golf one afternoon, we turned up 2 mins late due to the hotel taking so long to get us a transfer, on arrival the starter was having an argument with the group in front, he walked away and ignored them.. we were next, he berated us.. in fact I have never been spoken to like this in any hotel resort anywhere, It ruined our round! Unfortunately we only managed 9 holes due to weather including thunder and lightning. We complained to the hotel reception on our return and were promised a call by a manager, it took two and a half days and I had to chase multiple times.. This was on our departure day, the manager said he didn't have time to investigate so we have only just finished emailing now. The final response we received was that basically it was all our fault, the staff were not arguing with the group ahead (we spoke to the group on the way round) etc etc Other things to note, we felt this place was always trying to get us to spend ie staff were dissappointed if we didnt order the £300 lobster dish, we had to pay to use the arcade which was crazy expensive.. this is meant to be an ultra all inclusive. We have been to Maxx Royal twice, it is head and shoulders above Regnum.. GO TO MAXX Royal!!"

"It’s an amazing resort with great rooms, great food and plenty for the kids to do. The kids club was excellent and both children enjoyed going. Yakup who supported us throughout the holiday did a terrific job getting us booked into all the amazing restaurants and any extra support we needed."
