Phenicia Hotel

"Here is my summary. A 4 star hotel (as advertised)with 5 star service. We did 5 star in Mexico last year and Phenicia is far far better. Really enjoyable and we will be back next year. I will do this review Four in a Bed style. Hosts 10/10. The staff at this hotel could not be any more friendly and respectful. The entertainment work incredibly hard from early in the morning till late at night. A range of activities throughout the day is always available. Bar and food staff also very friendly, never had to get out my chair to get a drink in quiet times. Never had to wait for ages at the bar when busy. Absolutely impeccable service. Cleanlines - 10/10 room was spotless, no rubbish around the hotel. Waiting staff quick to look after tables once guests have left. Have no complaints at all. Services - 9/10 WiFi available across all of the hotel with some places being faster than others. Could stream around the pool and in reception. Beach was also strong. The bathroom in my room is ready for modernising in terms of getting rid of the bath and putting a big shower in but it was spotless. This is probably my only suggestion in terms of improving rooms. The Blue could perhaps be used a little more for entertaining guests in terms of musicians using the piano etc but again a suggestion not a complaint. Sleep - 10/10 slept well throughout. Bed was big and comfy with rooms kept at a nice temperature. No noise at night apart from when a show is on but that is to be expected. Food 10/10. Plenty of choice, we took a later dinner sitting and had no problems at all. Staff were always attentive and polite. I would highly recommend a kebab wrap at the bbq bar on the beach. Absolutely outstanding. Would I stay here again. Yes have already booked it for next year."

"I know this is 4 star but it's not even qualify for 3... Lots of towels are worn out with loose strings and greyish colour. Only one body+hair wash is provided and it smells cheap, also dries out your skin and scalp. No conditioner is provided. Curtain drops down from the curtain rail... This is the new low I've ever seen."

"A Dream Holiday at Phenicia Hotel I’ll Definitely Be Back! I recently had the pleasure of spending my holiday at the Phenicia Hotel in Tunisia, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. The location is perfect — right on the beach, with stunning views of the turquoise Mediterranean Sea. Whether it was lounging by the pool, enjoying the beach, or just strolling along the beautiful grounds, every corner of this hotel is designed for relaxation and comfort. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, offering all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The balcony was the perfect spot to enjoy the warm Tunisian sunset 🌇 But what really set the Phenicia apart was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. From the reception team to the restaurant staff, they made me feel like a VIP. Speaking of food the restaurants were fantastic! The buffet was always fresh, with a wide variety of dishes catering to every taste. I also enjoyed dining at the specialty restaurants, where the quality of food was top-notch. If you love seafood, you’re in for a treat! The hotel offers a great variety of activities too. I enjoyed some time at the spa, which was incredibly relaxing, and participated in several water sports available right on the beach. If you prefer a more laid-back experience, the beautiful garden and pool areas are perfect for a quiet retreat. Overall, I can’t recommend the Phenicia Hotel enough. It was the perfect mix of luxury, relaxation, and adventure, and I left feeling rejuvenated. I will definitely be back!"
