Yotel Geneva Lake

"We had an absolutely brilliant stay at YOTEL Geneva Lake and would happily return in a heartbeat. The hotel is extremely modern, with a sleek interior and so many thoughtful gadgets. Our room was packed with tech features – wireless charging ports, USB and USB-C outlets, automatic lights with dimmer switches, air conditioning, mood lighting, an adjustable bed, electric blinds, and a beautiful backlit mirror. Everything felt high-end and cleverly designed. The room itself was immaculately clean and a great size for a couple. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and there was plenty of hanging space plus multiple large mirrors which made getting ready easy. We really appreciated the smart storage – space for the suitcase without it being under our feet. The room also included a safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, which made everything very convenient. We were also impressed with the hotel’s excellent green initiatives. There are recycling bins in the room, and we loved the optional “go green” scheme where you receive money back if you choose to skip fresh towels and room tidying during your stay. It’s great to see a hotel actively encouraging sustainability. The communal facilities were another big plus. Guests can use a microwave, kettle, gym, and even a designated smoking room with a balcony. These extra touches really add value to the stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist us in planning our trips and travel around the city. They were always friendly, approachable, and genuinely keen to help. One of the biggest advantages for us was the free shuttle bus to and from the airport. We used this every day, as we based our daily plans around travelling via the airport and then returning after long days exploring. It also runs into Nyon during the week. Just something to consider when planning – the shuttle is out of service for a couple of hours in the afternoon and does not run to Nyon at weekends. Our stay also included a free regional bus ticket within Nyon, which is a great perk (although we found the shuttle service suited our plans better). Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay. The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable, environmentally conscious, and very well connected. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area – and if we’re back near Geneva again, we would absolutely stay here again!"

"My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights for a festive break and it was very good. The staff were so helpful and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We upgraded to the suite so ended up with a bed each, which was great. The staff on reception arranged for me to have two extra duvets to make the sofa bed more comfortable, which was really kind - the lady on reception was just lovely. The shuttle bus is a really excellent addition, the hotel sent me the times to and from the airport before we arrived and we were able to time our pick up perfectly, and didn’t pay for any taxis or Ubers the whole time- we either used the shuttle or the bus from across the road. We had dinner in the hotel twice which again was very good and the tea…oh my lord….the best cup of tea I’ve ever had!! The teabags were scirocco - really good quality and I will be buying some for home. The staff in the restaurant were so nice. All in all we had a very good stay indeed, and would definitely recommend - thank you again xx"
