"We arrived about 19-30 on Christmas eve on checking in we were told that if we wanted something to eat (we were full board }that the restaurant closed at 21-00 so we decided to just take our cases to our rooms ,finding the rooms was not easy as the lighting is not the brightest and the room numbers do not appear to go in sequence .On coming back down the stairs i got a mighty shock when the last step was deeper than the others .When we got to the restaurant we were told we had 10 minutes as they were closing at 20-00 ,while we were eating our food others arrived and were turned away ,the bar also closed at 20-00 . The food during our stay was repetitive and often appeared to be reheated ,Christmas dinner was a disappointment the turkey (if you could call it that ) was bones with a bit of meat on like i would use to make a broth .The food was only ever warm and with cold plates the meal was soon cold .The restaurant has been refurbished since we last stayed here but the food has gone down hill on our last say here the restaurant was much busier .On about the third day we were told that we had to pay for juice with our lunch and evening meal all we were allowed was water better treated in prison I also noticed chipped plates ,and the pouring spout on the milk jug was chipped throughout our 10 day stay a breading ground for germs ,so i am not surprised that my wife had a seriously upset stomach for 3 days another member of my family was also ill ,i was so close to calling for medical help .On the second day i went to the restaurant and as there is a sign saying no food to be taken out of restaurant although may guests did with very few being told or stopped , i requested that i be allowed two slices of bread and butter to make my wife some toast as she was ill i was refused ,so went to reception to make the same request and again refused so asked to see a manager but non on site but they got one on the phone who did agree to my request . I asked him for a meeting to discuss other problems ,When i told him one of the problems he gave me an answer which was not the whole truth i again requested to meet to discuss the other problems he refused not good public relations . The 3 rooms we had need a total refurbishment as they had loose doors ,cracked and loose floor tiles large gap under door . The utensils were a mismatch different quantities in each room . House keeping again was hit and miss . On arrival lights were not working a basic check when the rooms are cleaned for new arrivals should be to make sure they work and that all is fit for new arrivals . The cleaning and changing of sheets was ad hop some were done twice some four times never new what day they might be done . Rubbish and clean sheets and towels left in bags on narrow walk ways making a trip hazard , on a plus note the bathrooms have been refurbished but ned a bit of fine tuning fan very weak . The evening entertainment was not the best this is proved by the fact that most nights of our stay there were less that 12 people watching and they said the hotel was nearly full . The toilets in the club well the one that was working was DISSCUSTING .i could go on even more but it won't make any difference to this complex . I requested a meeting with a manager to discuss problems i had found which was denied so please don't insult me with the reply you have given others on this site that had you know you not aware of my discomfort well had a manager meet with me you would have known"
