Sun-soaked splendour and Michelin magic

One of the mottos at the Royal Hideaway Corales Suites is “Leave the World Behind”. And one glance at the white, cruise-ship like exterior – the complex was designed by high-profile architect, Leonardo Omar and you’ll want to do precisely that.

Part of a luxurious resort that also includes the adults-only Royal Hideaway Corales Beach, the beachfront setting seems dreamlike and ethereal. But that’s not the only thing going for it. The resort is a genuine pilgrimage for foodies, too, boasting two restaurants awarded with Michelin Stars and another that earned a mention in the esteemed Michelin Guide.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Hotel highlights

The cuisine at Royal Hideaway Corales Suites is extraordinary. But don’t take our word for it! Ask the gastronomic experts at Michelin who’ve handed out those hard-to-get stars to two of them.

Firstly, there is El Rincón de Juan Carlos, where its sophisticated balance of local and international flavours has earned two Michelin Stars, and boasts a setting that’s suspended 40 metres above sea level. The Michelin-Starred San Hô, meanwhile, impresses with a complex fusion of tastes that acts as a gastronomic journey through world cuisine.

And if you’re a big fan of Italian cuisine (who isn’t?) then you’re in luck. The resort boasts two Italian eateries, including an haute cuisine experience recognised by the Michelin Guide and a more laid-back trattoria, specialising in pizza and pasta.

Please note: El Rincón de Juan Carlos and San Hô are both adults-only restaurants

Situated on the Costa Adeje in the southern part of Tenerife and overlooking La Enramada Beach, the surroundings of Corales Suites are a feast for the eyes. Especially when you’re lying back on a sun lounger by the pool, sipping a cocktail, and directly facing the majesty of the Atlantic Ocean.

Hop over to Corales Beach, meanwhile, and you’ll find a further pair of saltwater pools. Including a rooftop number that’ll leave you in suitably high spirits. Just make sure the little ones are at the kids’ club – these two are for grown-ups only.

At Corales Suites, the care of your body and mind is tantamount. That’s why the resort spa is based around a holistic concept of wellness, where treatments – inspired by the ancient Indian medicine of Ayurveda – are designed to rejuvenate the senses and leave you feeling relaxed and whole once more.

Treat yourself to a hydrotherapy circuit and soothe away your stresses with hydro-massage jets and cascading waterfalls. You'll find a steam bath and sauna here, too, plus a fitness centre that’s open 24/7 if you’re ever in need of a workout.

Craving a lighter bite? Two poolside snack bars (one is adults only) and a gelateria will keep you topped up with treats between meals.

Head over to the adults-only Corales Beach for signature cocktails and sweeping views on the rooftop bar.

La Caleta’s a peaceful corner of Tenerife that is more than worthy of exploration. Enjoy quiet and scenic strolls during the day and a surprisingly vibrant evening scene of high-end dining and cocktails.

You’ll find two kids’ club at the Roya Hideaway Resort – one for ages 4 to 12, and another exclusively for older teens. Both feature activities and facilities that cater to the needs of today’s young people.
