"We had a fantastic experience at the Floramar. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and clean, and the pool area is fantastic, with stunning views over the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Michelle on reception, and the restaurant manager. We were self catering, but did eat at the restaurant a couple of times, and the food was fresh and tasty. Our apartment had everything we needed, and it was well worth the upgrade to a balcony with a pool and see view.- the view was breathtaking. The only slight drawback was that our room was directly above the restaurant, so when breakfast and dinner were served the noise of chairs scraping on the floor was a little irritating. This could be avoided by pads on the bottom of the chair legs. The hotel is in a great location, with a couple of stunning bays within walking distance (may be difficult with young children/if mobility is an issue.) The hotel is located on a hill, but it's a fairly short walk to the beach/restaurants and shops. I would recommend this lovely hotel, and we would definitely return."

"We had 2 self-catering apartments at the Floramar hotel, which had balconies with great views across the pool towards the beautiful bay at Cala Galdana. The apartments had a good sized bedroom, a nice shower room, and good sized sitting/dining/kitchen with everything you would need to cook meals, although we did eat out most of the time. The hotel itself had a nice diningroom and bar where there was entertainment which was very good. Also a nice area around 2 good sized swimming pools (not heated) for sunbathing, with great views across to the beautiful bay and wonderful sandy beach. All of the staff were very friendly and helpfull. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean and the grounds and pool constantly cleaned too. We ate breakfast on 2 occasions at the hotel which was very good, had a very good selection and good value for money. Cala Galdana is a beautiful bay which is very sheltered and surrounded by lovely scenery. There are some lovely coastal paths to enjoy and gorgeous little bays to explore. Cala Galdana is pretty quiet but does have a good selection of good restaurants nearby and a few small supermarkets where you can buy most essentials but there are bigger supermarkets in Ciutadella like Lidl where we visited a couple of times. We hired a car to do some sightseeing in Ciutadella and Mao and I would recommend car hire which was reasonably cheap. The weather was really good when we were there and we swam in the beautiful warm crystal clear waters in the bay at Cala Galdana almost every day. There are lots of boats, kayaks, paddle boards etc for hire at reasonable prices. I definitely would recommend this hotel and I'm sure we will be back again."
