Laid-back beachfront hotel in Lanzarote
Families really rate this place, and it’s no wonder. For starters, it’s got a top location on the seafront in Playa de los Pocillos on the southeast coast of Lanzarote. You’ve got a gorgeous stretch of golden sand right on your doorstep here for all your sunbathing needs, and while a layer of rocks mean you can’t directly access the sea, the swimming pools takes care of cooling dips. There are three of them – all saltwater to give you that in-the-ocean feel, and one is dedicated to little guests.
The VIK Hotel San Antonio grounds are cloaked in palms and shrubs, so there’s a lovely tropical vibe to the place. There are plenty of spots to stretch out in, as well, with loungers and parasols freckling the outdoor terraces and shoreline. Indoors, you’ll find a wellness area where you can relax in the sauna, treat yourself to a massage or go for a workout in the gym.
Sports activities on offer include tennis, beach volleyball, archery and aqua aerobics, while the hotel’s entertainment team host fun-packed activities throughout the day and live performances in the evenings. If you fancy some alone time, the mini club is on hand to keep children occupied.
Come mealtimes, there’s a huge variety of international dishes to try in the buffet restaurant, with regular themed nights and show cooking stations where you can watch your food being freshly prepared. Elsewhere, there’s a poolside snack bar for whenever you get peckish or fancy a drink, and a lounge-style cocktail bar that’s open until late.
Please note that the mini club at this hotel is operational during summer, Easter holidays and Christmas holidays.
