Ilunion Costa Sal Lanzarote

"Just arrived home stayed herevwith daughter just for two nights check it was 4pm which was bit annoying when arrived at 11.30 am .There was a luggage room to put our bags in safe was €16 for two nights getting €10 back at checkout .Pool towels were free .Drinks were a bit expensive the snack bar was nice food but again bit expensive. All the staff were very friendly we had a studio room bit hard to locate at first the room had microwave,kettle,toaster,fridge,balcony with table and chairs and 2 sunloungers found it very hard to open the door air con worked very clean and comfy bed .Our main issue was the food in the evening AUFUL AND COLD we did address this with reception who said she would report it . myself and daughter ate out in the 2 evenings we were there Breakfast ..... the only thing that was hot was the coffee and toast as eggs,bacon,beans,sausage was all COLD . This is such a shame as the hotel is lovely area is really nice but the food let's the hotel down. I have already booked this hotel in Dec for 4 nights to go with my husband and booked half board which now I wish I had only booked bed and breakfast .The hotel also has a supermarket, spa,gym Really hope the hotel takes note of the food complaints other wise they will loose bookings ."

"On arrival it all looks very nice, big lounge area with seating, bar nearby. Began check in with Rosa. She found my wife’s name,Toni, strange as she pointed out it was a man’s name! Anyway, eventually she understood we were here for two weeks with my son and fiancé joining us in a week’s time, asked if we wanted a safe at €54!! We had slightly overpaid so used this to pay for it. I still had to pay €10 deposit for it, unsure why. We were advised that someone would visit within half hour to make it work, they never showed up but we worked it out. What a rip off. The two bed apartment is very spacious and well equipped, the sofas are quite worn and well used. It has a good tv with good range of English channels, we got our firestick plugged in and it works fine, you will need an extension cable for this. Kitchen is very old clear signs of wear and tear, has all you need though. Two bedrooms are lovely, superb beds, very comfortable. Only thing is no air con in the bedrooms so if you want privacy you have to shut the doors then you have a sweaty night. Bring your own hangers as there are no where near enough. Bathroom is ok, decent shower. Nearly every room has cracks in the walls, tiles broken and paint coming off, 20 years ago this would have been 4 star, not so sure now. Some tiles are lifting on the patio and I can see a child hurting themselves on this at some point. The WiFi is pretty good but it disconnected half way through with no warning and I used all my data without realising. The key card for the gate stopped working as-well, luckily the reception was still open as we were locked out quite early. The maid service is good they are lovely ladies who are worth their weight in gold. The website says 2 adult only pools and 2 further pools, this is incorrect as there are only 2 pools for every one. The apartment we are in is supposed to be the best, say no more. I won’t stay here again as something is missing."

"Just back from an 8 night stay at Ilunion Costa Sal. Had a great week there. Very relaxing which was definitely needed. Good size room, with separate bedroom and pop up bed for my son, kitchen had all essential items as we went self catering. Onsite supermarket was very handy. We didn't eat at the hotel except for breakfast on our first morning, the meals are quite pricey, but not an issue due to location for local cafes and restaurants which were only a 5-10 mins walk away. Lovely pool area, we had no problems getting sunbeds, even with it being half term. Pool bar didn't open till a little later in the day, but you can buy drinks from main bar area. The hotel is about a 5 mins walk to beach and shopping centre. We've already booked to go back next year."
