"This was our fourth visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by the friendly reception staff like friends returning to visit. It was lovely to see Belinda, the Privilege Manager again and to meet her new assistant. We had the room that we had requested which was a bonus. Our room overlooked the pool and had a great view of the sea. Unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of sitting on our balcony as either the guests below or to the side of us were smoking and the smell was horrendous! Perhaps smoking rooms should be restricted to perhaps the higher floors 6,7 or 8 so non smoking guests can enjoy their balconies.
The hotel was kept immaculate by an army of cleaners who worked hard to achieve the high standards. Our room also was cleaned every day and towels changed regularly.
We dined every evening in the buffet restaurant and the food though not always hot was plentiful and the choices were many. We loved the new layout which we thought improved the dining room. It was lovely to see our friendly waitress Martina again and received a lovely welcome from her.
Although the weather was not great, some of the worst the island had experienced for years, as we were there for three weeks we did manage to get some lovely sunshine.
We noticed that the outdoor pool was heated this time which made swimming in there very pleasurable.
The evening entertainment was good as usual, though some artists need to adjust their sound systems as you could not always hear them over their music.
Overall once again we had a great relaxing holiday and are looking forward to returning in April.
Suggestion: have signs round the pool to say no smoking as we noticed that the life guard had to inform some guests that there were designated smoking areas, or perhaps inform guests on arrival on the information sheet provided. Also inform guests that drones were prohibited over the complex. Also we noticed that some guests took bottles and glasses onto the pool area which was dangerous and should be stopped."
