"I usually do not write accommodation reviews after my holidays. I only make an exception when a place provides an extraordinary and unforgettable positive or negative experience. Unfortunately, this time it was the latter case and I simply cannot stay silent.
We (my girlfriend and I) spent 10 days at the Bluesea Golden Beach hotel in a private pool apartment.
Upon arrival, we immediately noticed several issues: the terrace glass door was dirty, the pool lighting did not work, and one of the bedside reading lamps was broken. We then discovered that after every shower the bathroom flooded (see photo). And after a heavier rainfall, the terrace also flooded, as there is no proper drainage and water remains standing across the entire terrace (see photo).
A major problem was the lack of hot water. At certain times of the day (morning and early afternoon), we simply could not get hot water for showering — even after letting the water run for 15 minutes. The reception’s only response was: “Unfortunately this happens because the water pipes are very long, try letting the water run longer.”
The bed was uncomfortable, placed on wheels (see photo), and moved with every small movement, while the mattress springs were audibly squeaking.
Their opening times were also not accurate. For example the pool bar was supposed to be open daily from 10:30 to 18:00, yet several times it was closed in the middle of the afternoon, exactly when a refreshing drink would have felt good (see video).
Our biggest concern was that a THEFT occurred inside the hotel area - in our apartmen during the night when we were sleeping. The security level of the hotel is so weak that this could happen easily, they also admitted it on the reception! The worst part is that the hotel did not even apologize nor express any empathy about this, stating that this can happen anywhere and that we should have taken better care of our belongings. This is completely unacceptable in my opinion.
Here is what happened: we used to leave the sliding terrace glass door open at night for natural ventilation, assuming it was safe since this is supposed to be a secured hotel area. Unfortunately, this was not the case. On January 20th, 2026, at around 5:20 a.m., we woke up to a bearded man slowly opening our terrace door, pushing the curtain aside and sneaking inside (he was wearing a baseball cap and was approx. 170 cm tall). When we shouted at him, he grabbed the backpack closest to the door and ran away, easily jumping over the fence and disappearing into the night.
When I reported this at reception and asked for camera footage, I was told that "we don´t have security cameras at all, and such incidents can easily happen in this whole area". We were told that we should have locked our doors and windows.
After an incident like this, I would at least expect an apology, reassurance that security would be taken more seriously, or just a simple sign of empathy like a question asking if we were okay... None of that happened. This was both shocking and deeply disappointing.
To summarize: this hotel is not comfortable, does not meet the advertised standards, and is not safe. From the very first moment of our arrival, we experienced inconveniences that should never occur in a hotel of this category. The worst part, however, was the hotel’s attitude — especially at reception — where there was zero empathy, not even an apology, after our backpack was stolen from our room while we were sleeping in bed. For us this is a sign, that the Bluesea Golden Beach hotel does care about the guests at all.
Choose your place of vacation carefully and take care of yourselves.
